Project Engineer for this two-mile final <br />design project, which entailed reconstruction from a rural to an urban typical section. Responsibilities included <br />preparation of plan and profile, maintenance of traffic, signing and pavement markings, and roadway cross-section <br />sheets. Utilized 3D digital terrain model and generated coordinate geometry data in developing plans package. <br /> <br />SR 809 (Military Trail) Final Design - FOOT District IV, Palm Beach County, FL. <br /> <br />Responsible for plan production with emphasis on Florida D.O.T. design and CADD standards. Generated <br />digital terrain model (DTM) from digital planimetric survey data. Developed design criteria for final cross <br />sections and created input files to calculate earthwork quantities and for placement of utilities structures. <br />Responsible for the design of back of sidewalk and intersections profiles. Utilized coordinate geometry <br />(COGO) for the creation of horizontal alignment and vertical profiles. <br /> <br />BHA - Geopak, Miami, Florida <br />January 1994 to June 1996 <br />· Project Engineer <br /> <br />Ministerio de Obras Publicas (MOP), Ecuador Salinas, Anconcito, Ecuador <br /> <br />A 56-km roadway project through rural and urban areas. Duties included geometric design of roadway; plan <br />production coordination using Geopak Software, and the layout of drainage and utility structures on plan and <br />cross sections. <br /> <br />I Geopak Technical Support Staff <br /> <br />I Provided technical support to Geopak users. Assisted on certification of new Geopak releases. Administered <br />MicroStation and Geopak training to new users, and represented Geopak in various workshops. <br />
