His experience <br />includes Topographic Surveys, Right-of-Way Mapping, Design Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Control <br />Surveys, GIS, Hydrographic surveys and others. Mr. Diaz most recently worked with the Florida Department <br />of Transportation as Project Manager overseeing five consultants, one of which provided Aerial <br />Photogrammetry. At the DOT, Mr. Diaz played a key role in the implementation and organization of Quality <br />Control and review processes in the Surveying section, contributing to increased productivity and accuracy. <br />Mr. Diaz also served as a representative for the Surveying and Mapping Technical Advisory Committee and <br />the GIS development committee. <br /> <br />WORK HISTORY <br /> <br />Marlin Engineering, Inc., Miami, Florida <br />March 2003 - Present <br />Survey Manager <br /> <br />Sunny Isles Blvd. (SR 826) from Intracoastal Waterway bridge to Collins A ve, Sunny Isles, Florida <br />(June 2003 - July 2003). Mr. Diaz was the Survey Project Manager responsible for the direction of all <br />survey activities. This project entailed the collection of Topographic data with specific attention to drainage <br />structures and establish a control network, Right of Way location. Project Manager: George Fischer, Grant <br />Coordinator (305) 947-0606. <br /> <br />NW 25 St from NW 87 Ave to NW 67 Ave, Miami, Florida (2005 - 2006). Mr. Diaz was the Survey Project <br />Manager responsible for the direction of all survey activities. This project entailed the collection of <br />Topography, DTM, Vertical control verification, reestablish points from control network, Layout/Locate bore <br />holes and relate to existing Baseline. Project Manager: Miguel Soria, P.E. (305) 477-7575. <br /> <br />Numerous sites throughout the City of Miami, Miami, Florida (August 2003 - October 2003). Mr. Diaz <br />was the Survey Project Manager responsible for the direction of all survey activities. This project entailed <br />the collection of Topography, Vertical control verification, recover/reset City monuments as needed. Project <br />Manager: Guido Van Meek, P.E. (305) 477-7575. <br /> <br />Florida Department of Transportation, Miami, Florida <br />August 1998 - February 2003 <br />Survey Project Manager <br /> <br />SR 934 (NW 79 St.) from NW 6 Ave to JFK Causeway, Miami, Florida (2002). Mr. Diaz was the Survey <br />Project Manager responsible for the direction of survey activities.
