The
overall length of the bridge is 15,873 feet, with a vertical clearance of 45 feet. The bridge consists of 111 spans; all
143 feet long (Typical Unit consist of four continuous spans at 143'). The substructure consists of pile-supported
footings with hammer head T piers provided at the high-level portions of the bridge. The channel piers are designed to
resist ship impact loads of 2,000 kips. Mr. Amaya participated in the Quality Control of the design of the
Continuous Bulb-Tee Concrete Beams of the low and high-level approaches. Also he participated in the BDR,
30 % Bridge Plans of the Super and substructure design.

. Structure "A", Pinellas County, Florida - FOOT District VII
(Continuous Bulb-Tee Concrete Beams longitudinally post-tensioned)

In one of the alternates the central span unit has been developed using bulb-tee beams, with special haunched sections
at the supports. The beams were pretensioned in the casting yard and after erected, continuity was established by placing
the closure pours. Alternate AC is composed of 22-simple FBT-72 (108' Approach Spans) with 3-Continuous Concrete
Drop-In 141'-176'-141' longitudinally post-tensioned. Mr. Amaya participated in the longitudinal design analysis of
the FBT.72. He also participated in the construction assistance of the pile driven of the chosen alternate.

. 1-75/1-595 Interchange, Phase 2, Broward County, Florida - FOOT District IV (Precast Segmental)

This multi-level, fully directional Interchange includes 14 major (Phases I & II) segmental box girders structures. Phase
II has three, twin-box girder bridges (Overall length 1,216 ft.) and two single box girder bridges (Overall length 3,612
ft.); Mr. Amaya participated in the longitudinal analysis of the Phase II Segmental Bridges including the
checking of the transverse deck analysis.

. Port of Miami Bridge, Miami- Dade County, Florida - FOOT District VI (Precast Segmental)

This high level fixed structure consists of twin bridges 2,522 feet in length with fifteen spans of concrete segmental box
girders and seven piers designed to withstand ship impact loading equivalent to a static load of 1,500 kips. Mr. Amaya
designed the superstructure of this segmental twin bridge; he also reviewed the shop drawing of the erection
equipment, construction sequence, stress analysis, casting curve and geometry.

. Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Inter. Airport Interchange, Broward County, FOOT District IV (Precast Segmental)
This is a two level fully directional Interchange that provides access to and from the airport between US 1 and 1-595.
This project consists of six (6) precast seqmental bridqes totaling 4,035 linear ft.
. 1-95/ Palm Beach International Airport Interchange, Palm Beach County, FOOT District IV (Precast Segmental)
This is a three (3) level directional interchange. It connects 1-95 with the Palm Beach International Airport. It has
fourteen bridges totaling 14,238 linear ft., 8 curved concrete seqmental bridqes erected by the balanced cantilever
method and 6 steel plate girders bridges. . The segmental bridges consisted of 1,388 precast and 71 cast-in-place
segments.

For the above projects Mr. Amaya was in charge of all the REBAR production drawings. Each segment was
detailed with all the reinforcing and embedded items. Mr. Amaya was responsible for the integrated 3-D color
drawings of the Pier, Abutment and Expansion Segments including anchorage blocks.
