Since the site was limited additional provisions had <br />to be made for earthwork and fill stockpiling so as not to impact public right-of-way. <br /> <br />MLK- Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza Station - Parking Garage <br />P&A provided engineering services for design, pre-construction and inspections for the repairs to the <br />damaged areas at. <br /> <br />HOSPITALS <br />This office provided design and construction phase services for the parking garage <br />at South Miami Hospital. This five story parking garage has 680 parking spaces <br />with the option of a five story extension on top. We performed Value Analysis & <br />Life Cycle Costing for this structure. The total cost of the project was 5.3 million <br />dollars. This project was completed two months prior to the scheduled completion <br />time and was under budget. Construction cost for this parking garage was below <br />7,500.00 per parking space. <br /> <br /> <br />~ Parking Garage lot layout for South Dade Community Blood Bank Center, <br />~ Baptist Hospital of Miami Parking Garage No.5, Miami Parking Garage, Baptist Hospital Parking <br />Garage and Dietary Expansion Project. <br /> <br />CONDOMINIUMS <br /> <br />Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood, Fisher Island Oceanside and Bayview Condominium Buildings, <br />Two 40-story condominium buildings at Brickell Avenue, Miami, Radisson Hotel; Majellan Condominium <br />- Miami, Florida. <br /> <br />CIVIL EXPERIENCE & CEI: <br /> <br />Our Civil Engineering Experience includes planning, layout, site development, roadways, <br />drainage, utilities, MOT, water and sewer design, and construction phase services. <br /> <br />Entrance Roadway at Miami lntemational Airport <br />Scope of services included Planning, Layout, Design and Construction Phase <br />Services for the Upper and Lower Level Vehicular Drive to provide separate access <br />to the terminals for passenger arrival and departure. Design included incorporation <br />of numerous existing and new utilities, structures, drainage buildings and <br />modifications to existing terminals. Also included was evaluation of the traffic flow, <br />re-design of the central boulevard, new bridges, infra structures and bus loop. <br /> <br /> <br />Upper level vehicular drive is capable of supporting vehicular load. Roadway is supported by the structural <br />steel rigid frames. Access was provided to all parking garages through connecting bridges. Parking <br />garages were connected to each other with vehicular bridges. <br /> <br />Jackson Memorial Hospital / MGE Architect!). <br />The design of a very complex underground utility system including a service <br />/vehicular tunnel including a utility corridor. In addition the design of an entrance <br />roadway system including paving, drainage, water, sewer, and accommodations <br />for major electrical duct banks, steam lines, chill water lines, gas lines, <br />communication lines and medical lines. <br /> <br /> <br />The design includes a very difficult accommodation for a 30 inch diameter existing force main to travel <br />over the tunnel as well as a 24 inch by 12 inch electrical ducts going under the tunnel. This force main <br />must be relocated and elevated to come out of the natural grade so as to clear the many utilities. As such tie <br />jackets and tie rods with full vehicle protection is part of the improvements. <br /> <br />A series of roadway retaining walls are necessary to accommodate a new elevated roadway system. In <br />addition traffic signalization, pavement marking and signage to accommodate large volumes of traffic <br />entering on NW 12 A venue.
