Parking is an essential resource that gets people to <br />school, work, entertainment and more - their ultimate destination. The city of Sunny Isles is adapting, <br />changing, and planning for the future. The City's planning and redevelopment efforts reflect a need for <br />structured parking to serve the community and the development of a public park/space with certain <br />amenities. <br /> <br /> <br />\Vith Florida International Uni\'ersity, TimHaahs is \mrking to <br />prO\"ide the essential parking required to support the Uni\'ersity's <br />grO\\"th, \\'hile designing an attracti\'e mixed use facility. Timllaahs' <br />design of the mixed use parking structure \\'ill create a "people place" <br />- a place for students, faculty and \'isitors to gather. adding another <br />\'ibrant space to the campus. <br /> <br />Functionality and Parking Control <br />The function of this parking structure is critical to its success. We understand how to develop an <br />efficient functional layout that best utilizes structural systems to save owners significant money without <br />sacrificing user-comfort. In this case, our parking designers will work to refine the functionality of the <br />proposed parking facility. <br /> <br />If required, parking access and revenue control systems (PARCS) will be examined to determine the <br />best approach for the garage. We can evaluate systems that match the operational criteria for this <br />structure.
