<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Professional General Engineering Consultant- <br />Traffic Engineering <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> <br />Henry Mei, PhD, PE, will serve as a Transportation Engineer. Dr. Mei has over six years of <br />transportation engineering experience. He served as Transportation Designer on the Collier County On- <br />call Professional Traffic Engineering Services contract, where he assisted in the preparation of the <br />signalization plans for five intersections. Dr. Mei prepared the signalization plan for the City of Boca <br />Raton Military Trail/Lennox Drive Signal Design project. He also prepared communication routing and <br />signalization plans for City of Punta Gorda/Charlotte County A TMS Design Group 2 project. <br /> <br />Megh Govindu, EI, Transportation Engineer Intern, has over five years of traffic engineering experience. <br />Mr. Govindu served as Transportation Engineer Intern on the Magnolia Landing Access Management <br />project, where he analyzed access alternatives and recommended an access point for Magnolia Landing <br />Property that is anticipated to improve access to the property and enhance traffic flow along US 41. He <br />has prepared DRIs for numerous mixed-use developments, including Bryan Paul in Hendry County and <br />Tradeport in Collier County. Mr. Govindu served as Transportation Engineer Intern for various Lee <br />County signal design projects, including US 411Palm Drive, the Gulf Coast Town Center Internal Signal, <br />and the Miramar Mall North Entrance Signal. He is assisting on the Ortiz A venue project, which includes <br />preparation of a traffic study to widen Ortiz Avenue from a two-lane undivided to a four-lane divided <br />roadway. <br /> <br />Suhasini Karyamapudi, EI, Transportation Engineer Intern, has over one year of experience. Ms. <br />Karyamapudi developed a traffic impact study for the Oak Grove Village Mixed-use Development project <br />in Pasco County. She determined the future traffic conditions for roadway links and intersections within <br />the study area; analyzed the capacity of the roadways and intersections using FDOT's Generalized <br />Capacity Tables, SYNCHRO and HCS; and determined whether auxiliary lanes were warranted based on <br />County criteria and sized the turn bays accordingly. She served as Transportation Engineer Intern on the <br />Sweetbay Development Traffic Impact Analysis, where she developed a traffic impact study based on <br />Hillsborough County guidelines. Ms. Karyamapudi assisted on the City of Cape Coral Downtown CRA <br />Traffic Study, where she created crash summaries and used Microstation to prepare collision diagrams. <br />She is currently assisting in the preparation of a traffic operations study and signal planning for a roadway <br />reconstruction project in Kenneth City. <br /> <br />Damien Rose, EI, Transportation Engineer Intern, has over three years of experience. Mr. Rose serves as <br />Transportation Engineer Intern on the FOOT District Six Districtwide Traffic Operations Safety Studies <br />Consultant Contract where he assists in the analysis of crash data and the preparation of Safety Study <br />reports for the 2002 Districtwide High Crash list, in accordance with FDOT requirements and procedures. <br />He currently serves as Transportation Engineer Intern on the FDOT District Six Miscellaneous Traffic <br />Operations Studies Consultant Services contract, where he performs field review and crash analyses, and <br />develops reports for those locations. <br /> <br />Vikas Saxena, Transportation Designer, has over one year of experience. Mr. Saxena serves as <br />Transportation Designer on the FDOT District Six Districtwide Traffic Operations Safety Studies <br />Consultant Contract where he performs various analyses including crash reviews and level of services, <br />site reviews, conducted field inventories, and assisted in the development of study reports. He served as <br />Transportation Engineer Intern on the FDOT District Four District-wide ITS General Consultant Services <br />where he assisted in the development of drop down gate plans for 1-75 contra-flow operations and <br />performed site reviews. Mr. Saxena also assisted in performing "before" and "after" signal timing <br />evaluation runs for various corridors on the Broward County Signal Retiming Contract. <br /> <br />Richard Novell, IMSA II, Transportation Designer, has over 16 years of traffic operations and <br />transportation engineering experience. He served as Designer for the District Seven Districtwide Traffic <br />Operations project, where he conducted crash analyses and volume and vehicle turning movement counts <br />for numerous traffic studies.
