<br />~ <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />,I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />. <br />I <br />II <br />I <br />I <br />I. <br />II <br />I <br />I <br />n <br /> <br />EXPERTISE <br /> <br />Our professional/technical staff, supported by our dedicated administrative team, includes civil/ geotechnical <br />engineers (PEs) and engineering interns (Els), geologists, environmental engineers and environmental <br />specialists, field personnel who are certified (ACI, Troxler, CTOP, AASHTO, FOOT, SFWMD) and experienced <br />with an in-depth knowledge of the local and regional soil and groundwater conditions, geology, hydrogeology, <br />regulatory procedures and building requirements. <br /> <br />NUTTING'S fully equipped laboratory is accredited by the American Association of State Highway and <br />Transportation Officials (AASHTO), the Construction Materials Engineering Council (CMEC) and the Florida <br />Department of Transportation (FOOT), therefore strengthening our commitment to our clients by guaranteeing <br />accurate test results with routinely calibrated and tested equipment. In order to maintain and retain these <br />certifications, we undergo annual inspections by these governing agencies and associations. <br /> <br />Drillers are trained and certified to perform geotechnical drilling services in accordance with the South Florida <br />Water Management District (SFWMD) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FOOT) standards. Our <br />field technicians are multi-licensed and conduct tests in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO and other <br />appropriate laboratory standards. Our technicians and drillers are continuously encouraged to obtain <br />additional certifications needed to further serve the needs of our clients and expand on their own versatility to <br />the team. <br /> <br />In addition, NUTTING is in good standing with the Florida Secretary of State and have all of the <br />required certifications and licenses required to fulfill the mandatory requirements of this contract. We <br />carry one million dollar professional liability and two million dollar general liability insurance policies. <br />NUTTING is committed not only to our clients and our projects, but also to being an Equal Opportunity <br />Employer; a firm which does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, age or sex. We also have an <br />Affirmative Action Plan in place that we abide to. <br /> <br />NUTTING's four principals are all active employees of the company and bring a combined total of 100+ years <br />of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, special and threshold inspections <br />and environmental engineering. Three of the four Principals are Florida licensed professional engineers (PEs); <br />the fourth Principal serves as Director of Human Resources and oversees the efforts of the administrative team <br />throughout all 3 offices/laboratories. Together, they direct our staff of 82 experienced professionals, most with <br />over 15 years of experience in the industry throughout Florida and the United States.
