This <br />contract is very similar in scope to this proposal, in which <br />planning & design services are provided on an as-needed <br />basis. In addition, Consul-Tech's staff acts as an extension <br />to FOOT's personnel in providing general technical support <br />in completing planned projects. <br /> <br />Consul-Tech Construction Management, Inc, (Consul- <br />Tech) specializes in all aspects of construction <br />administration and quality control and has developed a <br />customized in-house database to track all construction <br />activities. Our professionals are proactive, experienced, and <br />are industry leaders that meet and surpass our clients' <br />needs and expectations. All of our professionals are capable <br />of successfully working on multi-disciplinary projects on <br />behalf of the owner, the owne~s representative, or as an <br />extension of staff to either party. We are certified, <br />knowledgeable, and amicable to our clients in our approach <br />to a quality project. Expert Witness Service <br /> <br />Consul-Tech has provided Hurricane Recovery and Debris <br />Monitoring Services to Miami-Dade DERM in the federally <br />funded FEMA Program <br />to design and/or <br />improve roadway <br />drainage facilities <br />throughout the County. <br />Consul-Tech was <br />instrumental in helping <br />the County develop and <br />monitor a construction <br />management program to undertake this multi million dollar <br />contract. Consul-Tech also provided construction <br />management services to the City of Miami for numerous <br />Capital Improvement Projects on an as-need basis. <br /> <br /> <br />Additionally, Consul-Tech has accumulated extensive <br />experience through its efforts in assisting FOOT Districts 1, 4 <br />and 6 in providing oversight and management of debris <br />recovery contractors, including debris management <br />consulting services, truck certifications, damage <br />assessments, training, emergency planning and other <br />services. Should the need arises, this experience will allow <br />Consul- Tech to provide the same comprehensive services <br />to the City of Sunny Isles Beach to facilitate the <br />communication and coordination efforts with the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Federal Highway <br />Administration (FHWA), the State of Florida and other <br />federal agencies and state insurance representatives. <br /> <br />Consul-Tech Surveying & Mapping, Inc, (Consul-Tech) <br />will provide full-service, in-house topographic, surveying and <br />mapping services. Consul- <br />Tech utilizes state-of-the-art <br />Surveying and Mapping <br />technology such as 3D Laser <br />Scanners and Wide Area <br />Network GPS technology <br />to provide the most <br />precise survey <br />information, faster <br />and more efficient. <br />Our professionals <br />have many years <br />of experience in all <br />aspects of surveying throughout the state of Florida and <br />have completed numerous projects for various municipalities <br />and state governmental agencies. All of our field crews are <br />equipped with electronic total stations and most include data <br />collection capabilities. We were one of the first firms in the <br />southeastern United States to own and operate a GPS Total <br />Station. This instrument utilizes satellite technology to <br />provide accurate survey results in "real-time" (no post- <br />processing).
