<br />6. OPERATION OF RESTAURANT PHASE <br /> <br />PROPOSER'S UNIOUE ABILITIES <br /> <br />ROBERT O. HOADLEY will be the managing partner-owner and general manager of the restauranllshop <br />operation. <br /> <br />Mr. Hoadley is also the current owner and sole proprietor of the Pelican Pier Restaurant located on the pier at the <br />Newport Beach Resort in the City of Sunny Isles Beach since 1999. Mr. Hoadley is also a working partner in <br />Tuna's Raw Bar & Grille, the landmark, newly remodeled restaurant located in North Miami Beach since 2007. <br />He has had extensive and successful food and beverage service experience throughout Miami Beach for the past <br />28 years. Of those years, 13 years have been working as an independent food and beverage and nightclub <br />concessionaire at the Newport Beachside Resort. He has been the owner-operator of hotel beach bars and <br />equipment concessionaires from 1984 - 1996 at various Miami Beach Hotels in the cites of Miami Beach, <br />SUlfside, Sunny Isles Beach that includes the Tahiti Hotel, Sagamore Hotel, Seabrook Hotel, Riviera Beach Hotel, <br />Suncity Hotel, and Dolphin Hotel. <br /> <br />In designing this proposal, proposer offer the following key elements as our approach to this concession: <br /> <br />Theme: Caribbean tropical beach, resort-casual <br /> <br />s.u.rn: Bahamian-Caribbean / "Bahamas Breeze" with bright rainbow colors on white and tan background, <br />gingerbread cornices, wicker furnishing, etc. <br /> <br />Type of Food The primary feature food will be fresh fish and seafood in keeping with the fishing pier and the <br />ocean. Since Miami is a great melting pot of the Caribbean, Central and South America, we would like to honor <br />these cultures with the best of each country, plus the traditional American-fare, <br />
