<br />All corridors, stairs, doors, and escape routes are kept unobstructed. Everyone of our employee's is <br />taught to know where alarm boxes, extinguishers, and other fire-fighting components are located. <br />(6) Solid and slippery spill: Cleaned immediately to avoid slip and fall. <br /> <br />Lifting technique Training <br /> <br />Employees are taught to lift 10Ib weight or less on a regular day but anything larger than 10Ib's will be <br />assisted with a pulley. The technique is to bend the knees forward and lift until the object is inside a cart <br />to be carried. Waist should not be straight when lifting any load larger than lOIb 's. <br /> <br />Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training <br /> <br />Employees are taught to wear Personal Protective Equipments such as latex gloves at all times when <br />removing garbage, cleaning restrooms or removing pathogens. Gloves and nose mask are worn when <br />removing hazardous chemicals, dust and other form of pollutant waste, and blood borne pathogens. <br /> <br />Cleaning Procedures on Chemicals Training <br /> <br />Caution: Under no circumstances should any employee formulate their own detergent. We train all <br />employees how to follow Material Safety Data Sheet procedure to achieve the desired result on acid <br />cleaners for restrooms and abrasive cleaners for soils on hard floors. <br /> <br />Chemicals in Carpet Cleaning Training <br /> <br />Employees are taught the nature of chemical and dilution in carpet cleaning. It is critical that all <br />employees are taught how to measure according to the directions. <br /> <br />Maintenance training employees are instructed about how to vacuum, shampoo either by dry soil or hot <br />water, steam-clean, extraction, rotary spin pad and stain removing from resistance stains, on carpets, <br />vinyl, wood, and other type of floors. <br /> <br />Training is provided by coaching the individuals with the effort to assist individual members of the work <br />force. Spending time on those tasks is so overwhelming that the trainee is able to learn quickly. <br /> <br />Green Training <br /> <br />The purpose of green cleaning is to reduce the impact of cleaning on both on a healthy and <br />environmental perspective. The Green Cleaning Training benefits both new and old facilities. With this <br />Chi-Ada plans to improve the indoor air quality using the Green Cleaning program at all locations. <br /> <br />21 <br />
