Responsibilities included daily reporting of equipment usage, mechanical demolition of multi- <br />story structures, and material segregation for recycling. <br /> <br />Keith Wise, Contractor Quality Control Manager <br /> <br />Management Responsibilities <br />Mr. Wise has more than 30 years of leadership and site management experience with construction and <br />equipment operations including more than eight years experience in debris. He is a highly experienced <br />and skilled heavy equipment operator as well as an experienced supervisor. His areas of responsibility <br />include: quality control, project planning and execution; project equipment maintenance; crew <br />supervision; and project production, safety, and reporting and recordkeeping. Mr. Wise's vast experience <br />allows Ceres to apply his expertise in a variety of critical roles including disaster response and recovery <br />mission quality control and management, demolition and construction project management, and <br />environmental response and restoration project management. <br />Professional Experience <br />· Contractor Quality Control Manager for Emergency Levee repair projects in St. Bernard and <br />Plaquemines Parishes, LA (July 2006 - Present). These projects comprised a total of four levee <br />reconstruction projects completed over the course of more than a year, post-Hurricane Katrina. <br />Administered by the USACE, the projects included excavation of unsuitable existing material, <br />replacement and compaction of specification material, installation of barriers, and final grading and <br />stabilization. <br />· Contractor Quality Control Manager (September 2005 - June 2006). Managed a crew and was <br />responsible for the clearing, grubbing, and burning of debris generated by Hurricane Katrina in <br />Louisiana. <br />· Field Superintendent for the debris management contract for the Southern Public Service Authority <br />for the Isle of Wight County, Virginia (October 2003 - February 2004). Managed debris removal and <br />hauling crews, as well as two waste-processing crews in the loading, processing, and hauling of <br />320,000 cubic yards of tree waste generated by Hurricane Isabel. <br />· Contractor Quality Control and Site Manager for the Valley Park Flood Protection Project (February <br />2003 - November 2003). Managed a crew and was responsible for the clearing, grubbing, and <br />burning of debris generated from the 47-acre site. <br />· Site Manager for the City of Asheboro, North Carolina (FEMA Contract) (May 2003 - June 2003). <br />Supervised the clearing, stump removal, and chipping of 48 miles of sewer Right-Of-Way. <br />· Quality Control Manager for the project of City of Garner, North Carolina (FEMA Contract) (January <br />2003 - April 2003). Supervised the production and quality control on an ice storm debris contract. <br />· Contractor Quality Control Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dredging project on the <br />Mississippi River (September 2001 - December 2001). Supervised the mechanical excavation and <br />hydraulic dredging of 55,000 cubic yards of material. The project included installation of erosion <br />control and flow control systems, as well as the restoration of the placement area. <br />· Contractor Quality Control and Site Management for the JDIQ Contract at Fort Knox, Kentucky <br />(November 1996 - February 2002). Contract included the demolition of over 165 wood frame, <br />concrete, and brick structures; the recycling of brick concrete and asphalt; and the restoration of <br />areas disturbed by the deconstruction. Supervised the tub grinding of 20,000 cubic yards of <br />demolition debris. <br />· Quality Control, Project Management, and Operations for numerous Emergency Debris Management <br />Contracts in Georgia (ice storm, six months), Oklahoma (tornado, five months), Arkansas (ice storm, <br />four months), North Carolina (Hurricane Fran, four months), Florida (Hurricanes Opal and Andrew, <br />total 16 months), and Alabama (Hurricane Opal) (1992 - 2000).
