Specialized in the operation the <br />debris management project, the Project Director's duties are to ensure that the client's needs, as transmitted <br />through the Division Director, are met. The Project Manager also guarantees that the project operation goes <br />smoothly and according to the plans and principles of Crowder. Some specific duties of the Project Manager <br />include: <br /> <br />· Aid the Division Director in creating a project-specific plan for the client's debris management project. <br />· Coordinate debris removal priority areas and pass order as well as TDSRS locations and final disposal site. <br />· Evaluate conduct of efforts and work with Director of Operations to adjust as needed. <br /> <br />Assistant Project Manager <br /> <br />Working with the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager serves in both a logistical and supervision <br />capacity. The Assistant Project Manager ensures that the materials and equipment needs of the debris removal <br />and reduction crews are met. The Assistant Project Manager further supervises the day-to-day operation of the <br />debris management project. Some spedfic duties include: <br /> <br />· Ensuring that all equipment needed to complete the project is provided. This may included obtaining rental <br />equipment when needed. <br />· Maintaining the communication equipment (cell phones, radios, etc) needed to coordinate the project's <br />efforts. Help implement alternate plans if standard communication technology is not available (i.e., satellite <br />phones). <br />· Obtaining all documentation required from subcontractors (insurance certificates, subcontractor <br />agreements, etc). <br />· Report project progress to Project Manager and Division Director daily. <br />· Coordinate housing and sanitary accommodations for employees (whether hotels or temporary base <br />camps). Monitor condition of housing sites periodically during debris management project. <br /> <br />Safety/Quality Control Manager <br /> <br />This position ensures that all operations conducted during a Crowder project are done according to our Safety <br />and Quality Control Plans. The person in this position is responsible for creating a unique Safety and Quality <br />Control Plan for each site and/or task to meet the unique needs of the project. The Safety/Quality Control <br />Manager conducts safety-training procedures for all crews and equipment operators. This person conducts <br />periodic inspections of all worksites to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Safety/Quality Control <br />Manager issues daily reports to the Project Manager to inform of any problems, possible solutions, and acddents <br />or injuries. Some duties of this position include: <br /> <br />· Maintain the Safety Plan and tailor it to any speCific site or work condition. <br />· Ensure that all work is being conducted according to the Safety Plan. <br />· Conduct weekly Safety Meetings and complete safety report. <br />· Investigate any accident or injury and complete relevant reports. <br />· Investigate any damage claims by Crowder or subcontractor. <br />· Communicate with insurance companies in the case of damage, accident, or injury. <br /> <br />76 I P age <br />
