<br />. Design to be submitted in three phases: <br />o Phase 1 - conceptual phase. A rendering of what is proposed is required prior to <br />formalization of a design. The City representative shall approve the rendering. <br />Proposer shall reply to all comments and make adjustments to the design as <br />necessary to accommodate the City's requests at no extra charge. <br />o Phase 2 - 30% drawings - the 30% drawing submittal shall be submitted to the <br />City to ensure compliance with all comments. Approval of 30% drawings is <br />necessary for the proposer to proceed to 90% drawings. <br />o Phase 3 - 90% drawings - 90% drawings will be submitted by the proposer as a <br />dry run review to the City for final City comments prior to submitting to <br />permitting agencies. <br /> <br />. Design must be 100% permissible. Proposer shall be responsible to ensure compliance <br />with all requirements from agencies having jurisdiction. <br /> <br />. Proposer must coordinate in the field to ensure that all aspects of existing elements are <br />CLEARLY understood. Proposer must design the canopy based on field information. <br />Attached to the RFP is a copy of some site layouts and structure information; however, it <br />is the responsibility of the vendor to understand the field conditions and limitations in <br />which the work is required. No additional compensation shall be provided to the vendor <br />for field conditions not understood and/or observed. <br /> <br />. The wall finish shall be stone veneer. Proposer shall replace damaged veneer at <br />proposer's cost in a manner that is acceptable to the City. <br /> <br />. Proposer will be required to protect the entire work area and restore the entire area <br />where damage to property occurs. Coordination with current contractor is necessary. <br /> <br />. Proposer must take into consideration the location of all underground utilities prior to <br />designing the foundations of the structure. <br /> <br />. The current contractor of record on the site constructing the park is Coastal Construction. <br />The proposer MUST coordinate with Coastal for site access and staging. If Coastal is not <br />on site at the time of mobilization, the proposer will be required to stage under the <br />Lehman Causeway as directed by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />. Proposer must protect and fence and provide dust control on the fencing during the <br />course of work and during the entire duration of the project. Proposer will not be <br />allowed to close any roadways or drive accesses. <br /> <br />. All material associated with the assembly must be suited for the oceanside environment <br />of the City. All support fabrication must be shop primed and powder-coated. No <br />fabrication will be allowed in the field. Shop Drawings and submittals must be provided <br />and approved by the City prior to fabrication. <br /> <br />. Proposer shall include the cost for special inspections, geotechnical reports <br />and tests as required by the building department as part of permitting and <br />project completion. These shall include but not limited to concrete densities, <br />structural support connections, and footings. All inspections and reports shall <br />be provided with original seals and back-up documentation as necessary for <br />filing at the building department. <br /> <br />.
