He will be responsible <br />for analyzing and defining the extent of scope and facility <br />requirements in relation to the site and budget. Develop a <br />Master Schedule identifying major milestones for design and <br />construction, Develop Value Engineer solutions to optimize <br />project estimate and ensure constructability, among others. <br />During the construction phase, Gus will be responsible for <br />overseeing both assistant project managers. <br /> <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Gus has close to 20 years experience in construction, with <br />a heavy emphasis on commercial and educational facilities. <br />He is an expert scheduler and has extensive experience <br />working both at commercial and civil projects; this gives him <br />an edge with issues like phasing, planning for construction in <br />occupied sites and extensive knowledge of sub-contractors <br />and vendors. <br /> <br /> <br />GTI Central Collection <br />Plaza, Miami, FL <br />Construction of a new <br />centralized parking <br />collections plaza, and <br />administration building <br />totaling approximately <br />17,000sf, several acres <br />of site improvements, and <br />upgraded utilities, and new <br />roadways entering and <br />exiting Miami International <br />Airport. <br /> <br />US Coast Guard Rotary Wing Hangar - South Florida's <br />largest helicopter hangar, in the "busiest emergency air- <br />rescue facility in the world." <br /> <br />JMH Mental Health Facility - 190,000 SF, 3-story new <br />construction of a pre-cast concrete structure with cast-in- <br />place concrete frames. <br /> <br />EMPLOYMENT <br />1997 to Present M.C.M. The parking garage included an elevator and <br />occupied areas at ground level, with physical education and <br />custodial uses. <br /> <br />Westland Hialeah Sr. High School, Hialeah, FL - Design- <br />Build of a new Senior High School complex composed of <br />multiple buildings, EHPA and courtyards to house 1,839 <br />student stations (322,084 SF).
