SAFETY MANAGEMENT STRUOURE The Safety Management Standard is divided into a total of seventeen elements. Each element has standard requirements and specifications that set out minimum expectations for safety perfonnance. These stipulated standard requirements must be met as a minimum. Records and Record Management · Audit Management Review A good Safety Program improves quality levels and increases productivity. Pavarini recognizes that it is our responsibility to provide a safe work place for all our employees, a safe project site to the general public and other contractor firms at our project sites. We abide by all Federal, State and Municipal safety and health regulations relating to the construction industry. We take particular pride in our safety record which is far below the industry average. As such, we are recognized as an industry leader by OSHA, Associated General Contractors of South Florida as well as our competitors, where we set a higher standard for excellence in this regard than that required by the letter of the law. PAVARINI SAFETY STATISTICS FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS 2006 - Lost Time Incident Rate = 0, Total recordable Incident Rate = 2.26 based on 621,000 man-hours. 2007 - Lost Time Incident Rate = .30, Total recordable Incident Rate = 1.21 based on 662,000 man-hours. 2008 - Lost Time Incident Rate = 0, Total recordable Incident Rate = 0 based on 542,000 man-hours. OSHA National Partnership On February 19, 2008, Pavarini and the Structure Tone Organization signed a National Partnership with the United States Department of Labor, Federal OSHA office in Washington D.C. This unprecedented occasion marked the only such partnership established at a national level in the construction industry.
