This Specification includes the preparation of the steel surfaces and the <br />application, drying, and cure of coatings. <br /> <br />'"l <br />. <br /> <br />1""1 <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />560-2 Materials. <br />560-2.1 Coating System: Use only coating products and systems meeting the <br />requirements of Section 975 and listed on the Departments Qualified Products List (QPL). <br />560-2.2 Thinners and Cleaners: Use only thinners and cleaners meeting the coating <br />manufacturers' recommendations. <br />560-2.3 Sealants/caulking: Use only sealants and caulk listed as part of the coating <br />system on the QPL and recommended by the coatings manufacturer. <br />560-2.4 Soluble Salts Test Kit: Ensure the surface treatment materials are approved <br />by the coating manufacturer.
