r'
~

==

.&JLl1 CC~ l\tfI.&NACGffilWJEfnr ~IEmWIICCm~

Management

The most significant resource ACMS brings to any School Crossing Guard program is
the depth and scope of management provided by the years of experience brought by our
operational management team. Our managers benefit from a "Team Concept" which
allows geographic regions to work cooperatively to best meet the variable demands of all
programs. This team consists of Field Supervisors, Area Supervisors, Safety
Celtification Specialists, Operations Managers, a Director of Operations and a General
Manager. The following is a brief synopsis of the respective duties of each.

Field Supervisors work under the direction of an Area Supervisor. They may train new
Crossing Guards, make regular site visits, conduct Site PerfOlmance Evaluations as well
as train and/or retrain Crossing Guards. Area Supervisors have the authority to use Field
Supervisors in a variety of ways to extend their management reach.

~ ......

Area Supervisors handle all aspects of the day-to-day management of from 10 to 60
Crossing Guards. The number of employees supervised depends on the schedules and
geographical distribution of the sites in their area. They typically recruit, hire, train and
provide personnel management for all the sites they oversee. Area Supervisors are
responsible for ensuring each employee receives the proper number of Site Performance
Evaluations and completes the Certification mandates. All Area Supervisors report
directly to an Operations Manager.

"....

Safety Certification Specialists: Are usually promoted from either a Crossing Guard or
Area Supervisor position by the Director of Operations. They assist in the development
and implementation of training programs and certification standards. They may assist
Area Supervisors in conducting Site Performance Evaluations and training. Safety
Certification Specialists perfOlm random site observations to provide an Operations
Manager with a quality control standard and a cross check of guard performance for each
Supervisor.

Operations Managers: Work under the direction of the Director of Operations to
provide training and support for all local supervisory personnel. They assist in the hiring
of all Area Supervisors and Field Supervisors as well as the development and
implementation of training programs and certification standards. Oversees the
performance of Area Supervisors and ensures compliance with Company standards.
Reports directly to the Director of Operations.

~

...,.
