delegated or assigned by the Project Manager including but not limited to those necessary to ensure that the project is completed by the Contractor in accordance to the plans, specifications, and contract documents. This requires the Consultant to provide any logs, reports and/or documentation, and progress meeting minutes required by the City to ensure that all elements of the construction are according to the plans and specifications. The Consultant shall also review all schedules and revisions to schedules, progress payments, requests for change orders, shops, submittals, requests for information, and other tasks required by the City representative that relate may impact the schedule of the construction or the completion of the project as required by Contract. Consultant shall provide necessary recommendations at the behest of the City representative when it is in the best interest of the City to obtain written documentation related to any task or service rendered by the Contractor that may impact the project. The Consultant shall demonstrate a clear understandinQ of the elements and tasks required by all permitting agencies and regulatory agencies governing the construction of a pier and restaurant in the City of Sunny Isles Beach and the application of the same to the current project. Coordination of Contractor's submittals: Review and coordinate Contractor RFI's, submittals, and shop drawings to the Architect of Record and/or the Prime Consultant (to Substitute Marlin Engineering) and to ensure they are acted upon by the designated reviewing entity, and maintain log to track submittals. Site Observationsl close-out: Consultant shall demonstrate an ability to perform quality control and assurance observations as well as the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret testing laboratory reports, inspections logs, vibration monitoring results, substantial completion inspection, punch list creation and follow-up, final completion inspection, project certification stating that the work is in substantial compliance with the plans and specifications. On-site Presence: Consultant shall demonstrate an understanding of the implications of their part-time presence on-site during the performance of the construction project. Safety: Consultant shall demonstrate their ability to perform safety observations and report unsafe conditions. Conduct meetings according to the requirements of the Project including the weekly progress meetings. Prepare notes recording open issues and actions required. Schedule and Budget: Consultant shall demonstrate their ability to monitor construction progress, construction schedule, and construction budget expenditures. Assist PM review Contractor's certified payables submittals. Review and recommend approval of Contractor's application for payment. Review and recommend approval of Change Orders and related documents. 3.3 PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES Professional Consulting Services are sought as they relate to the City projects list in Section 3.1. The firm shall provide sufficient information/documentation to demonstrate the firm's ability and qualifications in the following areas: A. Prime Consultant: PAGE 23 OF 34 BID No. 11-07-01
