Included the managcment of procurement of <br />Montreal based dcsign/ engineering firms and construction firms, site <br />selection, contract negotiations and reporting to the Qucbec governmcnt <br />funding agency and venturc capital/partners group. <br />New technology transfer for LED development. Project included a <br />phascd construction of 40,000 SF Mfg. space with class 1000 clean rooms, <br />test labs and administrative offices. <br /> <br />Project Design-Build Manager <br />ST Microelectronics, R&D Facility, Singapore <br />On-site Program Design / Build Manager for, $60 million High Tech <br />R&D Facility. Client was a French microelectronics f1nn and the design <br />team consisted of Italian, French, Singapore and U.S. firms. Build team <br />involved Singapore, Korcan and Chinese contractors. Responsible directly <br />to Singapore based plant manager for the on time delivery of the facility. <br />Provided BD support for further Singapore group based services under a <br />2 year work visa. Responsible to develop and network with local region <br />consultants, contractors and vendors. <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />Project Design & CM Manager <br />Amkor Technology AMK-6 Fabrication Facility, Laguna, <br />Philippines <br />On-site Construction/Project Manager for the $110M renovation / re- <br />tool and expansion of the Test & Assembly Facility project. Responsible <br />for initial planning & design with U.S. based team and then final design by <br />Philippine associate ftrm. Korean Owner with U.S. and Philippine <br />management teams.
