(DMJM-Harris, <br />2005) Structural Engineer in support of DlvlJM Harris CEI division. <br />Responsible for the review of the design and drawings of the proposed <br />DMS span sign structure for the SUNNA V Intelligent Transportation <br />System on the Sawgrass Expressway. <br /> <br />SR 5 / US 1 Oewfish Creek) Structural Component Submittal for <br />Ramps A, B, C & D , Miami-Dade/Monroe Counties, FL (2006) <br />Structural Engineer responsible for technical review of 90% plans and <br />calculations for the Bridge Ramps A, B, C & D of the Jewfish Creek <br />Bridge Project under the FDOT District 6 District Wide General <br />Consultant Contract. Superstructure consisting of simply supported <br />prestressed slab units and 3 & 4-span continuous (lOS' -2" and 102'-9", <br />respectively), modified 72" bulb tee girders with a composite cast-in-place <br />concrete deck. (DMJM-Harris, 2006) Structural Engineer under the FOOT <br />District 4 District Wide Consultant Plans Review and Design Contract <br />responsible for the review of the proposed prestressed concrete and <br />prestressed concrete spun poles for CCTV /MVDS video monitoring <br />systems and various span sign structures for OMS signs. <br /> <br />Tri-Rail: New River Bridge, Fort Lauderdale, FL. (DMJM-Harris, <br />2005) Performed reviews of plans and calculations for Tri-Rail's double <br />track high level bridge structure over the New River. This was a desit,l11 <br />build project with precast approach spans and steel thru girder main span <br />supported by reinforced concrete piers and 10' diameter mono-shaft <br />foundations. The project also consisted of reinforcing poor soils at the <br />bridge approaches, with Vibrated Concrete Columns and a Load Transfer <br />Platform, which supported a T-\Vall earth retaining wall system. <br /> <br />Miami-Dade Transit: Miami, FL. (DMJM-Harris, 2007-2008) <br />Structural Engineer for the Project Management Team supporting Miami- <br />Dade Transit (MD1) department for the extensions of the Metro-rail <br />transit system. Structures consisted of precast concrete segmental units <br />and precast u-beams supported on reinforced concrete substructures. <br />Responsibilities included plans review of the MIC-Earlington Heights <br />extension through 60% submittal and the North Corridor at 30%. <br />Additional work included supporting l'vIDT staff for the coordination and <br />preparation of the bid package of the MIC-Earlington Heights extension. <br /> <br />,..- <br />~ <br /> <br />1-95 SB Off-Ramp to Lantana Road - Ramp K Widening and <br />Structure E TRB Retrofit, FDOT District 4 (URS- 2011-Present). <br />Estimated construction cost: $ 3 M; Design Fee: $ 240,000; Estimated <br />Completion Date: 2015. Lead Structural Engineer for the 6-span <br />widening of Ramp K and barrier retrofit of Structure E. The widening <br />will be done with FIB 45 modified beams for the superstructure. The <br />substructure will be made of a single hammer-head pier founded on lS" <br /> <br />2 <br />
