Tasks include <br />conducting wetland and T&E species assessments, cultural resource <br />assessments, preparation of FERC clearance letters to USFWS, DCA and <br />Sl-lPO, contamination assessments (Phase I), applying for and obtaining <br />an FDEP ERP, a USACE Section 404 Nationwide Permit, a SFWMD <br />Right-of-Way Occupancy Permit, and a Miami-Dade County DERlv1 <br />Class V Dewatering Permit, trench dewatering discharge sampling and <br />analysis, MOT plans preparation with a lane closure analysis and <br />permitting through FDOT. <br /> <br />Environmental Task Manager, Key Deer HCP and Wildlife <br />Underpasses, Big Pine Key, FDOT, District VI (1999-2006): <br />Prepared permit applications and obtained a Scction lO(a)(l)(B) incidental <br />take permit for the endangered Key deer and other protected species. <br />Assisted in preparation of N EP A documentation and a Habitat <br />Conservation Plan for federally protected species that could be impacted <br />by direct and indirect effects from land development activities on Big Pine <br />and No Name Keys in Monroe County, Florida. Also assisted 111 <br />obtaining environmental approvals for wildlife crossings designed to <br />reduce roadway mortality of Key deer and other protected wildlife. <br /> <br />Senior Biologist, SFWMD Wildlife Survey for ST A 5 and ST A 6, <br />Palm Beach County (2005): j\ssisted with organizing and conducting <br />extensive wildlife surveys and reporting for over 1,100 acres in northwest <br />Palm Beach County to assist with the evaluation of the ST A 5 and 6 sites <br />for use as \Vater Treatment Areas as a part of the on-going CERP project. <br /> <br />Senior Biologist, Gulf South Pipeline Abandonment, Alabama, Gulf <br />South, (2005): Assisted URS Houston with the coordination and <br />collcction of field data (collected by others) including threatened and <br />endangered specles studies, wetland delineations and functional <br />assessments, contamination assessments, etc. to prepare F-1 <br />Environmental Documcntation (for certification from the FERC) for <br />abandonment of an existing 40-mile section of the Gulf South Pipeline in <br />southern .Alabama. <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />Environmental Task Manager, Sombrero Beach Road PD&E <br />Study, Vaca Key, Monroe County, FDOT, District VI (2002-2004): <br />Task Manager for environmental tasks associated with the performance of <br />a PD&E Study. Tasks included preparation of a WER, ESBA, CSER, <br />NSTM, AQTM and a CatEx II for submittal to FHWA for proposed <br />roadway improvement alternatives immediately adjacent to coastal <br />wetlands of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. <br />
