Tasks include conducting wetland and T&E species assessments, cultural resource assessments, preparation of FERC clearance letters to USFWS, DCA and Sl-lPO, contamination assessments (Phase I), applying for and obtaining an FDEP ERP, a USACE Section 404 Nationwide Permit, a SFWMD Right-of-Way Occupancy Permit, and a Miami-Dade County DERlv1 Class V Dewatering Permit, trench dewatering discharge sampling and analysis, MOT plans preparation with a lane closure analysis and permitting through FDOT. Environmental Task Manager, Key Deer HCP and Wildlife Underpasses, Big Pine Key, FDOT, District VI (1999-2006): Prepared permit applications and obtained a Scction lO(a)(l)(B) incidental take permit for the endangered Key deer and other protected species. Assisted in preparation of N EP A documentation and a Habitat Conservation Plan for federally protected species that could be impacted by direct and indirect effects from land development activities on Big Pine and No Name Keys in Monroe County, Florida. Also assisted 111 obtaining environmental approvals for wildlife crossings designed to reduce roadway mortality of Key deer and other protected wildlife. Senior Biologist, SFWMD Wildlife Survey for ST A 5 and ST A 6, Palm Beach County (2005): j\ssisted with organizing and conducting extensive wildlife surveys and reporting for over 1,100 acres in northwest Palm Beach County to assist with the evaluation of the ST A 5 and 6 sites for use as \Vater Treatment Areas as a part of the on-going CERP project. Senior Biologist, Gulf South Pipeline Abandonment, Alabama, Gulf South, (2005): Assisted URS Houston with the coordination and collcction of field data (collected by others) including threatened and endangered specles studies, wetland delineations and functional assessments, contamination assessments, etc. to prepare F-1 Environmental Documcntation (for certification from the FERC) for abandonment of an existing 40-mile section of the Gulf South Pipeline in southern .Alabama. c Environmental Task Manager, Sombrero Beach Road PD&E Study, Vaca Key, Monroe County, FDOT, District VI (2002-2004): Task Manager for environmental tasks associated with the performance of a PD&E Study. Tasks included preparation of a WER, ESBA, CSER, NSTM, AQTM and a CatEx II for submittal to FHWA for proposed roadway improvement alternatives immediately adjacent to coastal wetlands of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
