<br />In this area, Team Tally has included Dr. Jeffrey Marcus, who has extensive experience in this
<br />area and has done many projects for FDOT in this area. His resume is attached as Attachment "C"
<br />
<br />Desiqn. Team Tally's design staff is fully qualified in the area of geotechnical, civil engineering
<br />design and utility drainage, water and sewer, traffic, transportation, structures, MEP, life safety,
<br />material testing and so forth. This team can skillfully handle any element of the work required for
<br />this project.
<br />
<br />Special Inspections
<br />
<br />Tally Engineering staff is well qualified, licensed, state and county certified to act as a special
<br />inspector in all areas required for this project, including structures, precast yard, concrete, in
<br />accordance with the Florida Building Codes.
<br />
<br />Geotechnical Services and Material Testinq Services
<br />
<br />Team Tally has assembled a staff of well-qualified geotechnical engineers who are familiar with all
<br />the requirements of investigation and are qualified and equipped to perform all the geotechnical
<br />laboratory services required under this contract. In addition, Tally Engineering is one of the only
<br />local Consulting Engineers that owns its owns CSL testing equipment to perform the required CSL
<br />testing for all the bridge structures that have been recommended by the Engineer of the Record.
<br />Tally Engineering has CTQP qualified inspectors and equipment to perform these tests and issue
<br />final reports and has performed this work in over 100 projects statewide.
<br />
<br />The qualifications of Team Tally are more fully described in the Staffing section below. A review of
<br />that section clearly demonstrates that Team Tally is well qualified to perform the required work in
<br />all of the following areas:

<br />Prestressed and auger cast pile installation, logging, and certification of install
<br />Certification of fabricated prestressed piles
<br />Vibration monitoring in accordance to FDOT standards
<br />Settlement surveys in accordance to FDOT standards
<br />Conducting soil borings, cone penetrometer soundings, flat plate dilatometer sounds and
<br />other field exploration testing on land and from a barge-mounted platform.
<br />Conducting laboratory testing on soil samples obtained from field investigations. These
<br />tests may include testing for classification, strength (triaxial compression, unconfined
<br />compression, and direct shear) compressibility, and permeability.
<br />Providing geotechnical evaluation and design services including axial and lateral
<br />capacity of piles, stability of bulkheads and sea walls, foundation analysis for terminal,
<br />pier and wharf structures, stability of dikes and slopes, evaluation of dredged spoil disposal
<br />and surcharging of soft clay deposits.
<br />Conducting field and laboratory testing of construction materials which may include concrete,
<br />grout, soils, aggregates, and asphalt and others as listed below:
