Mr. Hewell retained valuable knowledge and understanding while obligating his management roles on multiple Governing Agencies Projects including FAA, Army Corp of Engineers, FDOT and Local Municipalities. Mr. Hewell served as the Primary Pointe of Contact for all Hillsborough County and City of Tampa Roadway Projects. As a Project Manager for Mactec Engineering he implemented and managed the FDOT Contractors Quality Control Program derived and staffed from his Commercial Testing Department. In January of 2004 Mr. Hewell secured the Office Managers Position with Tally Engineering with the intentions of establishing the conceptual identity for a Quality Roadway Inspection Firm. As a new company in the Tampa area Mr. Hewell pioneered Tally Engineering's Contractors Quality Control Department for District Seven and One. Mr. Hewell helped establish Tally Engineering's reputable Transportation Testing and Inspection Services in the Tampa and surrounding markets. Add a new turning lane from SR 441 to east bound to SR 826 east bound. Mill and resurface eastbound ramp from SR 441 to SR 826 just before bridge. Also milled and resurfaces access tandem truck staging parking lot. Services Provide: Quality control management of all material begin use within the limit of the project. Monitor and inspected the field placement of all structural fill material (embankment, pipe-backfill, sub-grade, base rock and MSE retaining wall system). Monitor the placement of all structural concrete including drilled shaft, (for Mass Arms and Cantilever Signs). Also prepare and monitor all Mass Concrete placements for bridge footings, columns and pier caps. Sparks (904) 739-7600 Project Description, The project consisted of five miles of widening and constructing of six new lanes extending the existing interstate 195 to a ten lane highway. Reconstruction consists of removing and reconstructing 3 bridges, 6- Mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall system, approximately two miles of cast in place retaining wall, and signalization.
