<br />Project Description, The project consisted of five miles of widening and
<br />constructing of six new lanes extending the existing interstate 195 to a ten lane
<br />highway. Reconstruction consists of removing and reconstructing 3 bridges, 6-
<br />Mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall system, approximately two
<br />miles of cast in place retaining wall, and signalization.
<br />Responsibility: Monitor and inspected the field placement of all structural fill
<br />material including sampling and material testing of embankment, pipe-backfill,
<br />sub-grade, MSE retaining wall system and base rock. Monitor sample and test
<br />the placement of all structural concrete including drilled shaft, (for Mass Arms and
<br />Cantilever Signs).
