CGA has a clear understanding of the entities and processes which are required for environmentally sensitive permitting. Our experience with these processes has been demonstrated throughout the pier permitting process along with our other recently permitted coastal projects. 2. Coordination of Contractor's submittals-CGA has completed this task on numerous previous projects. We will utilize our standard forms for tracking the submittal process. CGA can organize all of the submittal and other project files and upon completion of the project submit a final, properly organized binder of approved submittals. 3. Site Observations/Close-out- CGA's staff has performed quality control and assurance observations on many large projects including the 595 Express Lane and the 1-75 Interchange. We have completed many projects in which we have utilized subcontractors to perform inspections and testing. In each of these cases we have successfully read, interpreted and reacted to these testing and inspection reports. CGA is also familiar with vibration monitoring. Our staff has utilized this monitoring during blasting, beach construction and pier test pile installation. 4. On-site Presence-In many municipal applications, a part time on-site presence is required. CGA has worked with many municipalities to acquire the perfect balance between budget and on-site presence. We will work with the City to ensure that we stay within budget while still providing adequate on-site presence. S. Safety-Each of CGA's field employee has participated in al0-hour OSHA Course. This course is designed to help identify potential safety hazards on construction sites. 6. Schedule & Budget-CGA's staff is experienced in construction scheduling and budgets. CGA can create Primavera schedules, S Curves and Cash Flow graphs. Each of these reporting tools is to help identify schedule and budget concerns early on so they can be addressed prior to becoming critical path items. PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES Prime Consultant Over the course of several decades and dozens of projects CGA has excelled at assuming the leadership role of directing the efforts of the assembled team of sub consultants required of projects with similar or greater scope. CGA staff is experienced and comfortable with taking the lead role and responsibilities required to command the quality of work and schedule demands these projects will require. Specifically, CGA's resume of successfully completed work includes transportation, roadway, bridge, building construction and marine projects that demonstrate the flexibility and diversity of the many professional disciplines under the CGA mantle. CGA is uniquely adept at combining the outside professional resources with the CGA staff needed to assemble the team to manage these two projects. A clear distinction CGA brings to the table is the history of involvement with both the Pier and Bridge projects. Not only from leading the permitting efforts but also working closely with the Architects, Engineers and other professionals already in place. CGA has previously demonstrated a depth of knowledge and understanding of the acceptable methods of construction to be implemented i.e. test pile driving & monitoring; pile driving, jetting and limitations; precast tees; poured in place concrete bents; drilled shafts; reinforced masonry, etc. CGA has an unmatched familiarity of the plans, specs, existing utilities as well as knowledge of all work contracted and completed to date.
