US -1 BUS WAY PHASE II — FDOT, DISTRICT 6 Engineer of Record — The scope was for the final design of an 11 mile busway corridor in South Miami -Dade County. The scope included the necessary environmental document, final design, construction documents, traffic study, heavy signalization design and extensive maintenance of traffic design. Estimated Construction Cost $18,000,000. SUNRISE LAKES BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS — CITY OF SUNRISE, FL Engineer of Record for the improvement of 2.3 miles of an urban collector. The improvements included the addition of "Valley Gutter" on the outside edges of pavement and the reconstruction of the median. It also included milling and resurfacing the entire 2.3 miles, installation of new pavement markings and signage and aesthetic treatments at three intersections. EPD (ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION DEPARTMENT) LABORATORY GREEN BUILDING — BROWARD COUNTY ENGINEERING Project Manager. The scope of this project included drainage design, signage, permitting and utility coordination. SR -836 AUXILIARY LANES, MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FL — MDX (EAC CONSULTING, INC.) Project Manager — The scope includes widening and construction of auxiliary lanes on SR -836 at NW 571h Avenue. RJ Behar is reviewing and approving final design plans. NW 141h STREET /SR -836 OFF RAMP, MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FL — MDX (EAC CONSULTING, INC.) Project Manager — The scope includes the addition of an exclusive right turn lane off the SR -836 ramp and NW 14th Street. RJ Behar is reviewing all the design deliverables and supervising the design firm during the design phase. TOWN ENGINEER — TOWN OF SOUTHWEST RANCHES, FL As Town Engineer, responsibilities include review of all building permits, fill permits, develop cost estimates for the Town's capital improvement budget and represent the Town on all engineer matters. SR 7 /SUNRISE BOULEVARD CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION — CITY OF LAUDERHILL, FL Project Manager for the Construction Engineering Inspection Services for this intersection improvement project in the City of Lauderhill. This project involved the widening and reconstruction of this major urban arterial intersection and was accomplished through an agreement between the FDOT and the City. It included extensive utility coordination, resulting from the widening of SR -7, drainage improvements, signalization and lighting. SISTRUNK BOULEVARD (FROM FEDERAL HIGHWAY TO 27th AVENUE) — CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE, FL Project Manager for this project for the City of Fort Lauderdale C.R.A., which involved streetscape, traffic calming and extensive public involvement, water line replacement. NW 44th STREET IMPROVEMENTS — CITY OF SUNRISE, FL Project Manager /Engineer of Record — Project activities included the development of a typical section analysis to determine the most feasible alternative as well as the development of construction documents and permitting. A drainage analysis was also performed for the design of the outfall structure that connects to a local canal. The scope of this project consisted of the enhancement of an existing swale conveyance system as well as improvements to the existing streetscape with the addition of a sidewalk feature along the project limits. Project length: 1.90 miles BATTERSEA AND DOUGLAS DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT — CITY OF MIAMI, FL Drainage Engineer for the drainage improvements for a residential street intersection. This project involved producing an alternative analysis, construction plans and permitting for relieving flooding at this intersection as well as permitting for the improvements. MIRACLE MILE MEDIAN AND SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS — CITY OF CORAL GABLES, FL Project Manager for the design and coordination of converting Miracle Mile from a 6 -lane undivided to a 4 -lane divided section. The project includes exclusive left turn lanes, sidewalk improvements and replacement of all signals. CITYWIDE RESURFACING INSPECTION — CITY OF CORAL SPRINGS, FL Project Manager— He supervised the inspection on 15 miles of street resurfacing. FLEET MAINTENANCE FACILITY — MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FL Project Manager — He was responsible for preparing the civil engineering and structural plans for the Fleet Maintenance Facility. Services included contract document, permits, and utility coordination. SEVEN ISLES ENTRY BEAUTIFICATION — CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE, FL Project Manager — The project consisted of improvements to the Seven Isles Entryway.
