He is well- versed with the FDOT design and plans preparation process. He has participated in public involvement, and has been the Utility Coordinator for many FDOT projects. He proficiently uses and trains staff on the use MicroStation (V8) /GEOPAK, running the FDOT SiteMenu. He has experience in the preparation of lighting analysis using the AG132 software. He has used electronic delivery (PEDDS) to submit projects to FDOT, District 4. Mr. Alfred has 19 years of experience and brings a wealth of knowledge in transportation engineering and design. Mr. Alfred is also MOT certified for FDOT projects. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE BUENA VISTA HEIGHTS — CITY OF MIAMI, FL Project Manager — The scope included design and production of roadway plans, drainage, milling and resurfacing, overbuild and widening, new curb, signing and pavement marking plans and permit package. MIAMI RIVER GREENWAYS, SEGMENT D — CITY OF MIAMI, FL Project Manager — The project consists of the reconstruction of an existing roadway segment along the Miami River to produce a scenic, landscaped, pedestrian /bicycle walkway /greenway. The project includes the design of a drainage system with wells, decorative lighting and landscape /hardscape design. NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENTS — CITY OF MIAMI, FL Project Engineer — Project consists of roundabout/construction along with milling and resurfacing at the intersection of North Bayshore Drive and NE 171h Terrace, which includes roadway plans, signing & marking plans and landscaping plans. As part of the improvements for this area, we are introducing the design of a roundabout (traffic circle) on the corner of North Bayshore Drive and NE 171h Terrace. DOWNTOWN MIAMI STORM SEWER PROJECT (NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE) — CITY OF MIAMI, FL Quality Control Engineer — The project consisted of a total reconstruction of the roadway, and the design and implementation of a drainage system which included the replacement of the subsurface drainage system. Also as a part of the stormwater management system drainage wells were utilized to assist in alleviating flooding. The project required drainage calculations for approval from DERM. NW 87th AVENUE (SR- 973 /GALLOWAY ROAD), MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FL— FDOT, DISTRICT 6 Project Manager responsible for roadway design of new construction and reconstruction of NW 871h Avenue from NW 74th Street to NW 103rd Street in Medley, Florida. The scope of this project included roadway plans, drainage, traffic, lighting, signing and marking, signalization and bridge plans. WEST 72nd STREET — CITY OF HIALEAH, FL Engineer of Record /Utility Coordinator — He designed and engineered all of the construction documents for the reconstruction of the roadway and drainage systems. He also performed all of the utility coordination. SW 3281h STREET FROM SW 152nd AVENUE TO SW 137th AVENUE — MIAMI -DADE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS Senior Project Engineer — The scope of the project included master planning and feasibility analysis for the new roadway. This project involved the upgrading of the existing traffic signals to mast -arms and internally illuminated signs.
