He has worked in both <br />private and governmental agencies, including FDOT and Broward County. Mr. De Arazoza has held many high level <br />management positions throughout his career. He is well- versed in traffic engineering design standards and procedures. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />SR- 836/SR -826 (SECTION 5) PLANS REVIEW — EAC CONSULTING, INC. /RJ BEHAR (MDX) <br />Project Manager — In charge of reviewing the complex Interchange Guide Signs plans covering aspects such as size of <br />lettering, symbols, required legend, sign locations, etc, to conform with the requirements of the Manual of Uniform Traffic <br />Control Devices (MUTCD) and applicable FDOT regulations and standards. <br />SR- 874 /DON SHULA EXPRESSWAY RAMP CONNECTOR - PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT <br />(PD &E) STUDY — METRIC ENGINEERING, INC. /RJ BEHAR (MDX) <br />Project Manager — He is in charge of the required traffic engineering analysis and the development of major documents, <br />such as the Interchange Modification Report (IMR) and the Design Traffic Technical Memorandum (DTTM). <br />NW 87th AVENUE TRAFFIC STUDY - MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FL — FDOT, DISTRICT 6 <br />Project Manager — He is in charge of a comprehensive traffic operations study to evaluate alternatives and determine <br />potential improvement recommendations in developing traffic projections. <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING AND TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES — TOWN OF CUTLER <br />BAY, FL <br />Project Manager — Transportation Element and Transportation Plan Lead staff. Performed work consisting of traffic <br />engineering, traffic calming and safety studies as well as reviewing traffic impacts of proposed land developments. Traffic <br />engineering work included capacity /level -of- service analyses, traffic signal warrant studies, intersection and arterial <br />studies, safety studies, potential impacts of proposed land use developments. He successfully developed traffic calming <br />and traffic engineering studies for the Town. As one of the key staff, he contributed successfully in the development of <br />the Town's Transportation Element and Transportation Master Plan. <br />UPDATE OF THE TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT - CITY OF HIALEAH, FL <br />Project Manager who updated of the City's Transportation Element to incorporate the annexed area northwest of the <br />existing City boundaries. The study consisted of analyzing existing and future conditions on the transportation system <br />and developing a future transportation system to include required improvements. This project was extensively <br />coordinated with reviewing agencies and received approval by the City Council as well as both State agencies, the Dept. <br />of Community Affairs (DCA) and the Florida Dept. of Transportation (FDOT). <br />STRATEGIC INTERMODAL SYSTEM (SIS) ACTION & MASTER PLANS — FDOT, DISTRICT 6He is a member of the <br />statewide technical committee who assisted with the development and establishment of the SIS. He directed the <br />development of the SR- 997 /Krome Avenue and US -27 /Okeechobee Road Action Plans and the Following Master Plans: <br />1 -95 and 1 -195 in District 6. <br />OTHER SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE <br />Mr. De Arazoza experience includes supervising and providing technical guidance and support to transportation <br />planning, roadway design and traffic engineering personnel throughout his career. <br />® R.J.Behar R.
