Mr. Boyer also has an extensive background <br />in roadway drainage design and permitting projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) on multiple <br />Interstate and Turnpike roadway widenings. He also has experience in the drainage design on several airport projects, <br />such as the Miami International Airport and the Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport. At RJ Behar, he is the <br />Water Resources Director. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />SR -836 EMERGENCY ACCESS RAMP, MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FL — MIAMI -DADE EXPRESSWAY AUTHORITY <br />Drainage Engineer of Record — All the associated drainage design, environmental permitting and utility coordination are <br />a part of this project. The project consists of creating a single lane ramp that connects the Florida Turnpike on -ramp to <br />the westbound SR- 836 extension for emergency use only. The emergency ramp was requested by the Miami -Dade Fire <br />Rescue Department to reduce their response time to emergencies along the SR -836 extension and locations where <br />using the SR -836 extension would be the most direct route. This design is considered "complex- highway" and will be part <br />of the MDX system. An emergency u -turn will be designed on the SR -836 Extension between SW 12711 Avenue and SW <br />1371h Avenue. <br />DESIGN /BUILD FOR 1.595 FINAL DESIGN, BROWARD COUNTY, FL — FDOT, DISTRICT 4 (AECOM /DRAGADOS) <br />Water Resources Director responsible for the overall drainage master plan update and complete drainage design for the <br />entire corridor, which includes exfiltration trench, storm sewer design and analysis, cross drain analysis, and both wet <br />and dry retention stormwater management designs for seven out of eight design zones and is responsible for the <br />drainage plan preparation for two roadway design sections, as well as all coordination between six different design firms. <br />The scope includes exfiltration trench design, storm sewer design and analysis, and both wet and dry retention <br />stormwater management pond designs. <br />NW 7th/91h AVENUE CONNECTOR (DESIGN) — CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE, FL <br />Lead Drainage Engineer — He is responsible for the urban drainage design, storm sewers, stormwater quality treatment, <br />and permitting, The project includes the roadway design of an urban section, 4 -lane divided connector between NW 7th <br />and NW 9th Avenues. The scope of this project includes signalization, drainage design, signing pavement marking and <br />permitting as well as public involvement coordination. <br />SR- 836 /AUXILLARY LANES PD &E STUDY — MDX, MIAMI -DADE COUNTY (SUB TO EAC CCONSULTING, INC.) <br />Drainage Engineer — The scope of the project he prepared the conceptual drainage report AICPR <br />SR- A1A/COLLINS AVENUE RESURFACING (PHASE 1) MIAMI BEACH, FL— FDOT, DISTRICT 6 <br />Senior Drainage Engineer for drainage design and permitting. The scope of this project included design services for SR- <br />A1A/Collins Avenue from 26th Street to Indian Creek Drive in Miami Beach, Florida <br />1.95 HOV LANES (SOUTH OF PGA BOULEVARD TO SOUTH OF DONALD ROSS ROAD) PALM BEACH COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA— FDOT DISTRICT 4 <br />Senior Drainage Engineer for this widening project. Analysis involved exfiltration trench design, storm sewer design and <br />analysis, box culvert, cross -drain analysis, design of dry retention treatment systems parallel to the interstate, and <br />stormwater permitting. <br />1.95 HOV WIDENING (BLUE HERON BOULEVARD TO PGA BOULEVARD) PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA — <br />FDOT DISTRICT 4 <br />Senior Drainage Engineer responsible for quality control and review of drainage design that included exfiltration trench <br />design, storm sewer design and analysis, box culvert and cross drain analysis and design of roadside swales for dry <br />detention areas.
