<br />Mr. Romano is a licensed Professional Engineer with a Master of Science degree in Construction Management and has
<br />over 16 years of experience specializing in the areas of construction engineering, inspection and management (CEI &M).
<br />He has worked as a Senior Project Engineer /Project Engineer on various roadway construction projects in Miami -Dade,
<br />Broward, and Palm Beach Counties for FDOT Districts 4, 6, and the Turnpike, with an aggregate dollar value of over
<br />$100 million. Mr. Romano is responsible for overseeing the construction operations, administration, management, and
<br />quality control, monthly and final estimates (close -out package) of the projects. His knowledge includes all facets of CEI
<br />responsibilities including the oversight of construction operations, administration, public relations, quality control, final
<br />estimates and claims analysis.
<br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
<br />CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING INSPECTION OVERSIGHT FOR ARRA LAP PROJECTS, BROWARD COUNTY,
<br />FL — FDOT, DISTRICT 4
<br />Senior Project Engineer for FDOT's Broward Operation Center. This project consists of monitoring various local
<br />agencies throughout Broward County for EEO /AA /DBE compliance to ensure adherence to the Federal ARRA
<br />requirements and FDOT Local Agency Program (LAP) specifications.
<br />W. 36th AVENUE (FROM W. 76th STREET TO W. 84th STREET) CEI — CITY OF HIALEAH, FL; AMERICAN
<br />RECOVERY & REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA)
<br />Project Manager — Responsible for overseeing the reconstruction of West 36th Avenue, from West 761h Street to West
<br />84th Street within the City of Hialeah. The general overview and scope of the project comprised of the complete
<br />reconstruction of West 361h Avenue. The project scope also included pavement milling and resurfacing, signing and
<br />pavement markings, street lighting, tree removal, and grading of the adjacent swale areas and sod restoration with
<br />Performance Turf.
