At RJ Behar, he is working with design and plans preparation for <br />miscellaneous civil engineering projects. Mr. Socarras has been involved in numerous traffic count studies. He is very <br />knowledgeable working with Microstation, AutoCAD, Corsim and Synchro software. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />SW 328th STREET FROM SW 152 °d AVENUE TO SW 137th AVENUE — MIAMI -DADE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS <br />He assisted with the roadway plans preparation. The scope of the project included master planning and feasibility <br />analysis for the new roadway. <br />1 -75 /GRIFFIN ROAD INTERSECTION TRAFFIC STUDY, BROWARD COUNTY, FL — FDOT, DISTRICT 4 <br />Data Collector — He assisted with the study of signalized intersection analysis, weaving analysis, queuing analysis, <br />interchange capacity analysis and crash analysis using the latest traffic software such as: Corsim, Synchro and <br />FSUTMS /CUBE. The study included signalized intersection analysis, weaving analysis, queuing analysis, ramp analysis, <br />interchange capacity analysis and crash analysis. The study was done using the latest traffic software's such as <br />CORSIM, SYNCHRO and FSUTMS /CUBE. <br />SR -836 WIDENING - TRAFFIC STUDY — MDX (SUBCONSULTANT TO EAC CONSULTING, INC) <br />Technician — He performed the traffic study including 72 hour counts and turning movement counts and compiled the <br />data for the report. <br />SR -80 /SOUTHERN BOULEVARD, PD &E TRAFFIC STUDY — FDOT, DISTRICT 4 (SUBCONSULTANT TO C3TS) <br />Technician — He performed traffic counts and data collection. The Florida Department of Transportation, District 4 and <br />the Federal Highway Administration are considering improvements to SR -80 in Palm Beach County, Florida. <br />SR -874 PD &E STUDY— MDX (METRIC ENGINEERING, INC.) <br />He performed field reviews of 25 intersections; including traffic conditions, road geometry, driver interaction and trip <br />generation. <br />NW 87th AVENUE (SR- 973 /GALLOWAY ROAD) TRAFFIC STUDY, MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FL— FDOT, DISTRICT 6 <br />The scope of this project included a traffic study; traffic counts were performed to determine the optimal geometrics. <br />Traffic projections, traffic operations and signal warrants for eight intersections were also performed. <br />GRAND PALMS TRAFFIC STUDY — GRAND PALMS, PEMBROKE PINES, FL <br />Traffic Technician — He observed morning and evening turning movement counts to determine the need for additional <br />lanes. This project consisted of performing a traffic study at the Entrance of the Grand Palms Resort and Pines <br />Boulevard, RJ Behar was hired to conduct an intersection analysis for the intersection of Pines Boulevard and Grand <br />Palm Avenue. This study was requested to evaluate the feasibility of adding a right turn lane to the northbound <br />approach. <br />TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLAN TRAFFIC COUNTS — CITY OF HALLANDALE BEACH, FL <br />He performed traffic counts and data collection. This project included 24 hours and turning movement counts for a <br />master plan study aimed at improving congestion within the City of Hallandale Beach. <br />LAND USE AMENDMENT PLAN - TRAFFIC STUDY /TRAFFIC COUNTS — TOWN OF DAVIE, FL <br />He performed traffic counts and data collection. RJ Behar prepared a traffic study, on behalf of the Town of Davie, for a <br />Land Use Plan Application to increase density within the Town's Regional Activity Center. The study includes traffic <br />counts, projections of the new traffic demand, and analysis of the existing and future operational conditions in the areas <br />roadway network. <br />KEYSTONE POINT NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC STUDY — CITY OF NORTH MIAMI, FL <br />He performed traffic counts.
