Biscayne Boulevard 4`h Floor Miami Florida 33131 <br />Client Phone: (305) 460 -9900 E -mail: efordin@relatedgroup.com <br />Description of scope, of the work: <br />This project, located along the easterly side of Brickell Avenue in Miami's Financial <br />District, consisted of two (2) residential towers extending from a multi -level base that <br />contained interior parking and retail / restaurant element at the street level. The <br />project included 1,000 residential units, and about 50,000 square feet of retail / <br />restaurant and parking for 1,365 vehicles. <br />Situated between Brickell Avenue (SR 5) and Brickell Bay Drive, vehicular access to <br />the project was achieved from a frontage drive along its south boundgy (two <br />entrances / exits at different levels) and direct street level access (separate vehicle and <br />truck loading) from Brickell Ba y Drive. The design emphasized undisrupted ingress / <br />egress for the residents and patrons. <br />Month and Year the project was started and completed: Design Start: 2004: Construction <br />Completion: 2006. <br />Role of Firm and Responsibilities: <br />Under contract to the Owner, Consulting Engineering & Science, Inc. served as prime <br />consultant for the design, preparation of construction documents, permitting and <br />construction administration services for the on -site and off -site Civil Engineering <br />improvements required for the project. <br />Permitting of the access involved securing approvals and permits from the FDOT <br />Miami -Dade County Public Works Department and the City of Miami. Concerns <br />raised as to the impact of this number of vehicles on the adjacent urban roadways <br />were satisfactorily addressed. <br />City RFP No. 11 -11 -01 10 <br />
