Principal Project Traffic Engineer Mr. Fandrei has over 40 years of professional engineering experience, including more than 30 years here in South Florida. The vast majority of this experience has been in traffic and transportation. He has worked on projects throughout the United States and in the Caribbean Basin in both t he private and public sectors as a manager and as an engineer. His background includes traffic operations, signal timing, signal systems, engineering design, traffic data collection, traffic simulation, neighborhood traffic control, planning, and environmental impact analysis of highway projects, transit/highway interface, parking, signal warrant analysis, project C) management, construction supervision and traffic accident reconstruction. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE As a Principal at FCI, Mr. Fandrei is directly responsible for a variety of activities including traffic operations, traffic signal timing, design and studies, including Traffic Impact Studies and �) school studies. Prior to forming FCI, he was a principal with a Miami -based traffic consulting firm providing professional services to clients in areas such as traffic studies, signal system timing, traffic operations, neighborhood traffic control, engineering design and data collection. Mr. Fandrei has design experience in both traffic and civil engineering. His experience extends from intersection and roadway design in Belize; intersection design, signal design and interdisciplinary design team experience in the City of Detroit plus more than 30 years of professional experience in southeast Florida including. design of traffic signals, signal system timing, signing and marking, maintenance of traffic, intersection design , transit station parking and roadway layouts. He also has experience supervising design professionals on projects ranging from traffic signal design and design of guide signs through freeway and interchange design. t) Mr. Fandrei has extensive experience in data collection and analyses. He has managed data collection projects for his previous employers including managing data collection operations. He also has experience in public involvement through his background in both the public and the private sectors.
