Dixie Highway <br />Suite 1¢80 <br />1\4iami, Florida 33156 <br />Tel 305- 670 -1331 <br />Fax 305 - 670 -1332 <br />August 26, 2009 <br />Re: Letter of Reference <br />Oasis Plaza Shopping Center <br />Homestead, Miami -Dade County <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br />This letter is being written at the request of Consulting <br />Engineering & Science, Inc. to provide a letter of reference in <br />association with their work on the above referenced project. <br />The Oasis Plaza Shopping Center is located in the southeast <br />quadrant of the intersection of Kingman Road and Campbell Drive, <br />generally across the street from the Baptist Homestead Hospital <br />Complex; and, was constructed on an 18 -acre, site. The project, <br />anchored by a major Publix supermarket, included over 83,500 sf of <br />retail, with at -grade parking for 550 cars. Site improvements <br />included roadway modifications, driveways, parking, drainage and <br />water and sewer extensions. <br />Consulting Engineering & Science, Inc. was the Civil /Site <br />(� engineering consultant for this project. Their responsibilities <br />included the planning, permitting and design of the site <br />improvements. Civil /Site design fees for this project were about <br />$90,000; and, the total construction cost was about $12 million <br />(Civil /Site infrastructure about $2 million). Design work began in <br />2005 arid construction was completed- in 20,E , . <br />This is only one of a number of projects on which we have retained <br />Consulting Engineering & Science, Inc. Their thorough review and <br />analysis of the site; their knowledge of local codes and permitting <br />requirements; and, their ability to meet project schedules are all <br />exemplary.
