Traffic CITY OF SUNNY ISLES RFACII <br />� L e <br />Engineering Services <br />Relevant Experience <br />US 1 Corridor Study, Delray Beach, FL — Project engineer on the Kimley - <br />Horn team who was responsible for this study and conceptual design <br />of several blocks of US 1 in Delray Beach. The City and its Community <br />Redevelopment Agency (CRA) adopted the Downtown Delray Beach Master <br />Plan, which has as one of its key elements a reconfiguration of the two one - <br />way segments of US 1 from three lanes to two lanes. Accordingly, Kimley - <br />Horn was retained to evaluate potential changes to the lane configuration <br />along southbound (NE /SE 5th Avenue) and northbound (NE /SE 6th Avenue) <br />segments of US 1 from north of Linton Boulevard (SE 10th Street) to George <br />Bush Boulevard. Kimley -Horn developed alternatives, forecast future <br />traffic volumes for review with the City and the CRA, and led several public <br />involvement workshops at which detailed traffic engineering and design data <br />were presented. <br />2000 Roadway Improvements Bond Program, Southeast /Southwest <br />Area Infrastructure Improvements, Delray Beach, FL — Served as project <br />manager and lead engineer on eight residential projects involving roadway, <br />water main, and drainage improvements. Project duties include directing field <br />data collection, detailed design of improvements, preparation of plans and <br />specifications, and bid phase services. <br />Boynton Beach Boulevard Extension and Promenade, Boynton Beach, <br />FL — Project engineer for the extension of Boynton Beach Boulevard to the <br />Intracoastal Waterway and the creation of a boardwalk along the water. Our <br />team is involved in the planning, design, coordination, and plans production <br />of this streetscape project funded by the City of Boynton Beach Community <br />Redevelopment Agency. Unique aspects of the project include extensive <br />environmental permitting, utility coordination for future development, and <br />traffic calming measures. Included in the scope of work was the design of the <br />roadway, utilities (including water, sewer, drainage, and electric), the layout and <br />design of a 500 -foot promenade /boardwalk, and 1,300 feet of riverwalk on the <br />Intracoastal. <br />Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Continuing Minor Civil Engineering <br />(Multiple Projects), FL — Kimley -Horn is providing a variety of services for <br />FAU at its multiple Florida campuses. Projects performed in conjunction with <br />this contract include providing civil engineering services for the FAU Boca <br />Raton Campus Broward Avenue and Volusia Street Traffic Signal project for <br />Boca Raton where services included design of a new traffic signal at the <br />intersection of Broward Avenue and Volusia Street on the FAU Boca Raton <br />Campus. For the FAU Boca Raton Campus Leet Street Sidewalk project, <br />provided design and construction of 1,800 linear feet of 8- foot -wide sidewalk <br />from the Engineering Building to the Recreation Center.
