) <br /> <br />1 <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />_./ <br /> <br />Village of Pinecrest (Various Projects), Pinecrest, Florida <br /> <br />SW 72nd Avenue <br />Chen Moore and Associates (CMA) modeled the existing stormwater conditions along SW 72nd <br />Avenue from SW 112th Street to SW 120th Street to determine the existing level of service on the <br />roadway and the swales adjacent to large estates. CMA utilized GIS and developed an AdlCPR model to <br />determine the appropriate rain storm elevations for the desired level of service and prepared drainage <br />improvement plans along the right-of-way. Improvements included additional positive drainage <br />connections and strategic locations for exfiltration trench. CMA met with each resident with Village <br />officials to communicate and coordinate changes while working to minimize potential conflicts during <br />construction. <br /> <br />The design included minor traffic/roadway modifications, ADA grading considerations along with <br />a significant effort to balancing the residents' requests to protect the existing mature tree canopy <br />while addressing expectations for drainage. The plans were reviewed by Miami-Dade County Public <br />Works, the Miami-Dade Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM) and the Village. <br />Services included bidding assistance, meetings with each resident adjacent to the project, construction <br />observation/inspection and project closeout services. <br /> <br />SW 60th Avenue Sidewalk and ROW Improvement Project, Pinecrest, Florida <br />Chen Moore and Associates prepared sidewalk expansion plans for over 2 Yz miles of sidewalk within an <br />existing wooded estate residential community. The design included traffic/roadway modifications, ADA <br />grading considerations along with a significant effort to balancing the Miami-Dade County Public Works <br />specifications with the residents' requests to protect the existing mature tree canopy. <br /> <br />The project included rights-of-way within the Village of Pinecrest and the City of Coral Gables. The <br />plans were permitted via both municipalities and Miami-Dade County Public Works. Services included <br />bidding assistance, meetings with each resident adjacent to the project, construction observation/ <br />inspection and project closeout services. <br /> <br />In addition to the above project descriptions, CMA <br />has successfully completed over 20 additional <br />projects including providing roadway and <br />stormwaterengineeringservices, drainage reviews, <br />dog park design concepts, turn lane design and <br />sidewalk projects.
