<br />Mr. Rodriguez has extensive experience in urban and rural roadway design, including geometry, drainage, quantity
<br />computation and construction cost estimating. His expertise includes project scheduling and administration. He has
<br />served as design engineer, drainage engineer and permit coordinator as well as project manager. At RJ Behar, Mr.
<br />Rodriguez is the Director of Civil Engineering and oversees all aspects of design and construction document preparation.

<br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
<br />CENTRAL BROWARD WATER CONTROL DISTRICT (CBWCD) ENGINEER SERVICES - BROWARD COUNTY, FL
<br />District Engineer responsible for the review of plat submittals, Paving and Grading Plans and as-built plans for
<br />development permits in the CBWCD. Responsibilities include; ensuring that all site plans comply with CBWCD
<br />engineering criteria, review and evaluate requests for variances, provide technical support to CBWCD Board during
<br />public hearings for variances request. Site visits are performed as necessary as well as coordination with CBWCD staff
<br />in order to ensure that site development requirements are met.
<br />BATTERSEA AND DOUGLAS DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT - CITY OF MIAMI, FL
<br />Drainage Engineer for the drainage improvements for a residential street intersection. This project involved producing an
<br />alternative analysis, construction plans and permitting for relieving flooding at this intersection as well as permitting for
<br />the improvements.
<br />SR.5/US.1/0VERSEAS HIGHWAY FROM FONTAINE DRIVE TO S. OF TAVERNIER CREEK BRIDGE, MONROE
<br />COUNTY, FL - FDOT, DISTRICT 6
<br />Project Manager - The scope of services includes milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, traffic control
<br />plans and ADA and pedestrian features upgrades. The project access management analysis resulted in the closure of
<br />several unnecessary driveways. Enhanced traffic signal signage was required due to a high rate of accidents at the
<br />corridor's one signalized intersection. Additionally the Typical Section was modified to accommodate bicycle lanes
<br />without widening.
<br />NW 7th/9th AVENUE CONNECTOR (DESIGN) - CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE, FL
<br />Project Manager. The project includes the roadway design of a 1.5 mile urban section, 4-lane divided, connector
<br />between NW 7th and NW 9th Avenues in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The scope of this project includes signalization,
<br />drainage design, signing pavement marking and permitting as well as public involvement coordination.
<br />NW 87th AVENUE (SR.973) TRAFFIC STUDY - FDOT, DISTRICT 6
<br />Engineer of Record - The cope included a traffic study including traffic counts to determine the optimal geometrics,
<br />traffic operations and signal warrants for 8 intersections. The scope of this project consists of final design and future new
<br />reconstruction, roadway design, traffic operations, drainage, structure and construction of NW 87th Avenue (from NW 74th
<br />Street to NW 103rd Street) within the Town of Medley.
<br />SR.7/US.441 ROADWAY LIGHTING AND NW 11th PLACE PEDESTRIAN LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS, CITY OF
<br />LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA - FDOT, DISTRICT 4 LAP PROJECT
<br />Project Manager - Responsible for the design, quality assurance reviews of the plans, permitting and coordination with
<br />respective agencies. The scope of this project includes milling and resurfacing, installation of decorative stamped
<br />concrete and asphalt, lighting, landscaping, and street furniture. This is a FDOT Local Agency Program (LAP) Project.
