The scope required the installation of approximately 18 CCTV
devices at one-mile intervals along a 19-mile corridor of the Turnpike Mainline from MP 40.1 to 52.8 and MP 66.4 to
73.5. The existing fiber optic cable in the project limits provided the communication link from the CCTV cameras to the
Pompano TMC facility. In order to complete the installation of CCTVs within the areas from MP40-74, CCTV cameras
were installed between MP 54-59 and 59-66 as part of the Mainline Widening from Griffin to Sunrise and Sunrise to
Atlantic projects, respectively. Additionally, the Foundry Gigabit switch/router; two runs of 96-strand single mode fiber
from the existing Hub building located at the Microwave Tower at MP 35.
