<br />· Sawgrass Expressway, Broward County. A $7 M resurfacing and widening project of a four lane divided
<br />expressway.
<br />· Tallahassee Road Project, Miami-Dade County. A $7 M widening of urban arterial roadway in Miami.
<br />· Quail Roost Drive, Miami-Dade County (April 1999). An $8 M urban widening and reconstruction project
<br />including drainage, paving, signalization, and lighting.
<br />· 1-95 and Ives Dairy Road, Miami-Dade County. This $8 M project consisted of widening and reconstruction
<br />of access ramps and bridges over 1-95 and CSX Railroad at Ives Dairy Road.
<br />· Omni Stations, Miami Metro-Mover Extension, Miami-Dade County. This $15 M project consisted of the
<br />construction of six elevated metro-mover stations, bus transfer area, and a vehicle wash facility. The
<br />project followed very high standards imposed by the Federal Transit Agency for mass transportation
<br />projects.
<br />· Florida Turnpike between Bird Road and Kendall Drive, Miami-Dade County. The widening of this segment
<br />of the Florida Turnpike included six bridges and the construction of two new ramps for the Kendall Drive
<br />interchange.
<br />· Florida Turnpike. Responsible for the value engineering study that replaced the reinforcing earth wall
<br />system with the back retaining wall while maintaining traffic through construction thus avoiding Turnpike
<br />bridge closures as originally planned.
<br />· 1-75 and S.R. 29 Interchange. Construction of S.R. 29 overpass over 1-75 including all access and egress
<br />ramps and drainage canals.
<br />· Palmetto-Phoenix Farms and Town of Golden Beach Sewer System. Projects involved the installation of
<br />complete sewer systems, pump stations, and force mains for a total of over 100,000 LF of pipe.
<br />· Tri-County Commuter Rail Stations at Golden Glades and Palm Beach. These tri-rail stations were built
<br />maintaining railroad traffic and following a fast paced construction schedule.
<br />· Road Widening Projects. Responsible for several road widening projects in Miami-Dade and Broward
<br />Counties, including drainage systems up to 72" diameter.
<br />· Bridge Construction and Widening Projects. Responsible for the widening or replacement of several
<br />bridges in Miami-Dade and Broward County.
<br />· Commercial and Industrial Projects. Responsible for the construction of a 200,000 square foot office
<br />building in Washington, D.C. and acted in an engineering supervisory capacity in the Amuay Refinery
<br />Upgrade, Venezuela, as well as the Bahia Blanca Thermoelectric Power Plant, Argentina.
<br />· Development Feasibility Studies. Acted as a consultant for several commercial and residential
<br />developments in Florida, including the preparation of preliminary development plans, development of cost
<br />estimates, feasibility analysis, and financial projections.
<br />· Constructability Reviews. Responsible for constructability reviews of multiple road and bridge projects
<br />including road reconstruction and widening of SR 60, SR 78, SR 80, SR AlA, US 1 and 1-95. Also
<br />responsible for constructability review of bridge repair and rehabilitation projects of bascule bridges over
<br />the Intercoastal Waterway and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
<br />· Construction Claims, Dispute Resolution and Litigation Support. Directly responsible for documentation,
<br />preparation, negotiation of construction claims and litigation support under Federal, State, and County
<br />contract provisions, including the preparation of CPM analysis of delays and schedule impact, as-built
<br />schedules, project records and delay-causing events, with the determination of activities and type of delay
<br />suffered.
