Big Pine Key Post Design Services · Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) @ NW 74th Street Interchange from N.W. 62nd Street to FEC Railroad, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager for the mainline widening and interchange reconstruction facility of a limited access facility from 8 to 10 lanes with provisions to HOV, ITS consideration including the addition of one lane in each direction between the Okeechobee Road/South River Drive interchanges and just south of NW 74 Street; the construction of a f1yover ramp from westbound Okeechobee Road to southbound Palmetto Expressway; the reconstruction of the bridges over Okeechobee Road/South River Drive and NW 74 Street; the reconstruction and widening of all ramps; the construction of two bridges over the Miami Canal between Okeechobee Road and South River Drive; the widening of bridges over the FEC railroad tracks and Metrorail; the construction of a ramp over Metrorail; and improvements to the barrier wall, drainage, signing and pavement markings, lighting, and signage. The improvement consisted of widening to the outside with a 12' lane and the existing bridge over the railroad track utilized the existing shoulder as the auxiliary lane. Client: Miami-Dade Expressway Authority. · Golden Glades Toll Plaza Improvements, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager for the addition of one toll lane in each direction including public involvement. Client: Florida Department ofTransportation, Turnpike District. · 1-95 between N.W. 129th Street and N.W. 151 Street, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager and Chief Designer for the widening of 1.5 miles of an interstate limited access facility from 8 to 10 lanes. The project included the reconstruction of three interchanges.
