<br />of Florida's Turnpike (HEFT) PD&E Study, Miami-Dade County, FL - The project proposes an extension of
<br />S.R. 924 as a limited access facility west to the HEFT and seeks to maximize the opportunities for transit
<br />connections with the existing 1-75 and the Palmetto Expressway with the proposed SR 924 East extension
<br />to 1-95. The services include technical analysis of alignment alternatives, community and agency input
<br />and outreach and the selection of a final alignment. Design elements include traffic engineering,
<br />controlled aerial survey, and establishment of existing right-of-way, geotechnical, utility coordination,
<br />controlled access highway design, roadway widening and reconstruction design, bridge analysis and
<br />design, and maintenance of traffic planning. Consul-Tech will provide roadway design and surveying
<br />services. Client: The Corradino Group.
<br />95 & S.R. 9 PD&E Study from N. of Oakland Park Boulevard to South of Glades Road Improvements,
<br />Broward County, FL - Mr. Garganta was responsible for engineering analysis, drainage, interchange
<br />analysis for Project Development and Environment (PD&E) for interstate improvements including
<br />additional lanes, interchange modifications, bridge replacement, and bridge widening as contained in the
<br />MPO-Adopted 1-95/1-595 Master Plan Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA). The Master Plan adopts the
<br />Broward County Long Range Plan and the Palm Beach County Long Range Plan for the 1-95 corridor. These
<br />plans includes the widening of 1-95 north of Oakland Park Boulevard to Glades Road to increase the
<br />mainline width to 10-lane wide with 8 general purpose lanes, 2 HOV lanes, and interchange
<br />improvements. The general objective of this study is to provide and document information necessary for
<br />the FDOT, hereafter referred to as the Department, to reach a decision on the type, design, and location of
<br />improvements to alleviate the current traffic conditions, address capacity improvement needs, and
<br />implement interchange modification solutions along 1-95 from South of Commercial Boulevard to South of
<br />Glades Road, in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Client: The Corradino Group.
<br />1-75 (S.R. 93) EMO Study, Miami-Dade/Broward Counties, FL - Mr. Garganta was responsible for the
<br />engineering analysis, drainage, interchange analysis/SIMR and utility coordination for Project
<br />Development & Environmental (PD&E) Study to plan for future projects to relieve existing and future
<br />congestion along the existing 1-75 corridor. The project is approximately 22 miles in length and will include
<br />the possible addition of reversible/special purpose use and auxiliary lanes, interchange improvements
<br />and a dedicated transit way adjacent to the highway. Client: The Corradino Group.
<br />S.R. 713 PD&E Study, Lee County, FL - Mr. Garganta was responsible for the quality control on the study of
<br />a 10-mile rural facility.
<br />Kendall Drive (SR 94) PD&E Study, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was responsible for the PD&E
<br />study to widening six miles of Kendall Drive from 4 to 6 lanes.
<br />S.R. 112 PD&E Study, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Chief Designer for the study of a 4-
<br />mile, limited access expressway between 1-95 and N.W. 42nd Avenue including public involvement. The
<br />project included 6 interchanges, 20 bridges, and several retaining walls.
<br />S.R. 70, St. Lucie County, FL - The project comprised a PD&E study including public involvement,
<br />preliminary engineering plans and right-of-way maps for a 17 -mile, 4-lane rural section.
<br />Gratigny Parkway (SR 924), Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was responsible for the PD&E study of
<br />a 4-lane limited access toll road including public involvement. The project included three interchanges.
<br />Turnpike and Commercial Boulevard PD&E Study, Broward County, FL - Mr. Garganta was responsible for
<br />the quality control on interchange design study.

<br />· Port of Miami Access, Miami-Dade County, FL - The project comprised the preliminary study of a limited
<br />access facility to the Port of Miami from 1-95 to 1-395.
<br />· Port of Miami, Miami Dade County, FL - The project comprises the bulkhead design for the expansion of
<br />the cargo area at the Port of Miami.
<br />· Port of Miami, Miami Dade County, FL - The project consisted of drainage plans for the Main channel of
<br />the Port of Miami.
