Design components will include roadway and site design, neighborhood improvements and <br />beautification, underground utility design, site grading and stormwater runoff modeling and design, <br />erosion and sediment control design, pavement marking and signage design, maintenance of traffic <br />(MOl), engineering analysis, cost estimation and reporting, permitting, construction observation and <br />inspection, shop drawing review, preparation of project rendering and presentation materials, specialized <br />training to City staff, and coordination with City staff, consultants, utility owners and contractors. Client: <br />City of Fort Lauderdale. <br />· FOOT General Consultant #1, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager in charge of <br />assisting FDOT with a districtwide range of engineering services in bringing to completion the production of <br />numerous projects. Client: Florida Department ofTransportation. <br />· Districtwide Miscellaneous PE Design, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager <br />responsible for assisting the Department in preparing a set of contract plans to be used by a selected <br />contractor and include project elements for roadway, signing and pavement markings, signalization, <br />lighting, landscaping and right-of-way services for the Department. Consul-Tech will provide design, <br />drainage analysis, design and right-of-way surveys, environmental services, field investigations, <br />geotechnical, utility adjustment plans, signalization, structural, lighting and landscape plans for roadways, <br />structures, minor bridge design, intersections, and interchanges. Client: Florida Department of <br />Transportation, Contact Person: Ana Arvelo, P.E, (305) 470-5210 <br />· City of Sweetwater Improvements, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager for the <br />improvements to the street system of the City of Sweetwater including milling and resurfacing, sidewalk <br />replacement and ADA compliance. Design services include roadway design, drainage, signing and <br />pavement markings, signalization, lighting, landscaping and right-of-way. Client: Florida Department of <br />Transportation. <br />· City of Miami General Engineering Consultant, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta was the Project <br />Manager responsible for assisting the City of Miami with a city-wide range of engineering services in <br />bringing to completion the production of numerous projects. <br />· Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade County, FL - The project consisted of preparing plans for the <br />cargo area and west side road improvements. Also included were portions of N.W. 25th Street and N.W. <br />67th Avenue. Client: City of Miami Capital Improvements. <br />· FEMA-DORM Drainage - Miami, Florida. Mr. Garganta was the Project Manager responsible for assisting <br />the Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) with the <br />management of a $380-M program forthe replacement and upgrade of roadways and drainage systems at <br />over 3,000 sites in Miami-Dade County, damaged during Hurricane Irene and the No-name Storm. The <br />repairs ranged from simple roadway resurfacing to full roadway reconstruction and drainage <br />improvements. Client: Miami-Dade Department of Environmental Resource Management. <br />EXPERT WITNESS PROJECTS <br />· N.W. 163rd Street Causeway, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta provided an expert witness <br />testimony on right-of-way taking. <br />· Gratigny Parkway, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta provided an expert witness testimony on right- <br />of-way taking. <br />· Carr-Smith Corradino Case, Miami-Dade County, FL - Mr. Garganta provided an expert witness testimony <br />on an accident case.
