His experience also includes the inspection, construction, and coordination of utilities for major <br />projects, including urban arterials, limited access facilities, and design/build projects for FOOT. Some of his <br />experience includes: <br /> <br />. SR 862 (1-595) west of 1361h Street to east of the Turnpike, Design Build P3, Broward County, FOOT <br />District 4 - Project Engineer for the proposed P3 improvements of an approximate 10-mile section of SR <br />862 (1-595) west of 136111 Street to east of the Turnpike. The project includes the coordination of conflict <br />resolution with a total of 18 VAO facilities in the area of the project. Responsible for the design and <br />development of Utility Adjustment Plans and cost estimates for relocation work. Responsible for producing <br />plans specification and cost estimates for the relocation of facilities owned by the City of Sunrise and the <br />Town of Davie, and for coordinating reimbursable agreements with all UAO facilities in the area of the <br />project. <br /> <br />. SW 2641h Street Improvements (US-I to SW 1371h Avenue), Miami-Dade County, Florida - Project <br />Engineer involved with the design for the proposed street improvements for SW 264 Street (approx. 0.74 <br />miles). Design elements included a new configuration for SW 264 Street with a two lane divided roadway <br />within an 80 foot right of way. The proposed corridor design consisted of standard travel lanes, bicycle <br />lanes; parking stalls with landscape bump-outs after every second parking stall, a landscaped median, traffic <br />separator, standard curb and gutter, sidewalk, school bus drop-off, pavement marking and signage, roadway <br />lighting and report, school zone with applicable markings, signs and flashers, and modification of existing <br />traffic signal at US-I. Design elements of storm water management included over 3,150 feet of exfiltration <br />trench, 2,000 feet of solid pipe, 45 drainage structures, pollution control structure with an emergency <br />overflow into Naranja Canal with a rip-rap end-wall and manatee grate. Duties also included preliminary <br />field investigations, utility coordination, computation book, drainage repOli, detailed cost estimates and <br />permitting through DERM. <br /> <br />. West Kendall District Park, Miami, Florida - Project Engineer involved with proposed new roadway <br />design and street improvements. Design elements included over 4,600 of exfiltration trench, 1,000 feet of <br />solid pipe, 31 drainage structures, over 5,000 feet of water main, roadway resurfacing, signalization of <br />existing intersection, over 1 mile of new roadway with sub base, base and asphalt, sidewalk, guardrail, curb <br />and gutter and stripping and coordination with structural department for design of proposed Bridge over a <br />canal. Also responsible for the production of Grading and Drainage, Typical Sections and Detail plans. <br />Duties also included preliminary field investigations, utility coordination, permitting through DERM and <br />drainage report and detailed cost estimates. <br /> <br />. South Miami Downtown Improvements Phase IV, South Miami, Florida - Project Engineer involved <br />with street and drainage improvements. Design elements included over 200 feet of exfiltration trench, 200 <br />feet of solid pipe, ten drainage structures, milling and resurfacing of roadway, side walk, curb and gutter <br />stripping & signing landscaping and irrigation and maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans. Also responsible <br />for the production of demolition, geometry paving grading and drainage, typical sections and detail, <br />landscaping and irrigation plans. Duties also included drainage report and detailed cost estimates. <br /> <br />. Street Improvements from East 22 Street to East 24 Street & East 9 Avenue, Hialeah, Florida - <br />Project Engineer involved in design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications for the <br />roadway reconstruction to this two-lane residential section with parking in accordance with the current city <br />policies; including roadway pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, earthwork, drainage, street lighting, <br />pavement marking, and signing. <br /> <br />. Hialeah Street Improvements Phase II, Hialeah, Florida - Project Engineer responsible for drainage and <br />street improvements. Design elements included over 5,500 feet of exfiltration trench, 1,000 feet of solid <br />pipe, sixty six drainage structures, new road base and sub base, side walk, curb and gutter and pavement <br />markings. Also responsible for the production of Demolition, <br />Geometry Paving Grading and Drainage, Typical Sections and Detail plans.
