She has also pm1icipated in numerous <br />trainings and certifications including her most recent coursework in Urban Transportation Planning which <br />r 1 included: travel demand forecasting, trip generation, trip distribution, transit planning, mode split, traffic <br />assignment and land use issues. She has also been involved in and has experienced with the design of <br />signing and marking, lighting, and signalization. Some of these projects have included: <br /> <br />r I . <br />1 <br /> <br />Golden Glades Interchange PD&E Study (SR 826 EB to 1-95 NB), Miami-Dade County, Florida, <br />FDOT District 6 - QA I QC Officer for the development of this two stage PD&E Study. The Golden <br />Glades Interchange is of regional importance providing connectivity to six major principal m1erials <br />andlor limited access expressway facilities including 1-95/SR 9A, SR 9, SR 9 I (Florida's Turnpike), US- <br />441/SR 7 and SR 826 (The Palmetto Expressway). The first stage is to evaluate a new direct connect <br />ramp from Eastbound SR 826 to Northbound 1-95 as well as various operational improvements to the <br />various interchange internal ramp systems (Including development of an IMR). The second Stage is to <br />develop a Master Plan that incorporates these improvements in addition to the development of a direct <br />connect elevated managed lanes connection to and from SR 826 to and from the north connecting to the <br />1-95 elevated flyover express lanes. <br /> <br />· t <br /> <br />.1 <br /> <br />f I <br />. Miami Lakes CRA Program, Miami Lakes, Florida - Public Information Specialist in charge of CRS <br />J Program Update in 2010 to correspond with Cycle Visit to be held in October- 2010. The Town's goal <br />through this process is to improve to Class 4 community receiving a 25% Flood Discount. A complete <br />review of the current CRS Program was conducted to establish the current status of the program was <br />performed. C3TS is currently working on creating brochures, assisting the Town with Outreach events <br />and preparing mailers to attain maximum credit. C3TS is also assisting the Town with all <br />documentation required for their cycle visit. <br /> <br />F 1 <br /> <br />. I <br /> <br />. ; . Oakes Road Planning Level Analysis Study, Davie, Florida - QC Manager for the development of a <br />feasibility study to evaluate extending Oakes Road over Florida's Turnpike and connecting it to Davie <br />Road. The objective of this feasibility study is to document the Purpose and Need for the extension of the <br />corridor. This Purpose and Need will be used to solicit the Broward County Metropolitan Planning <br />Organization (MPO) for the inclusion of the project in the 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) <br />and subsequent Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study phase. This will form the basis for <br />fUl1her study during the PD&E phase. The connection would provide a vital link to the east and central <br />portions of the Regional Activity Center (RAC), designated by the Town as part of their redevelopment. <br />In addition, the Oaks Road extension would benefit redevelopment of the State Road 7 conidor. <br /> <br />. 1 <br /> <br />. .. <br /> <br />. , <br /> <br />. N.W. South River Drive Feasibility Study, Medley, Florida - Project Manager and Engineer of <br />Record for the development of a planning study for the widening of NW South River Drive from 107th <br />Avenue to the Palmetto Expressway. This project which is being funded by an MPO grant includes <br />various typical section alternatives, coordination for traffic analysis and corridor analysis, preparation of <br />a land use analysis study and the development of a public involvement program. The public involvement <br />program includes the development of a Business Advisory Council (BAC) and the establishment of <br />several workshops to address the needs of this corridor. <br /> <br />. Trafficways Improvement Study, Medley, Florida - Senior Engineer for the planning and analysis of <br />the Town of Medley's major roadways for needed improvements. The Town is unique in that it serves as <br />the industrial center for Miami-Dade County and as such contributes to the region's economy. The <br />industrial nature of the traffic (heavy tractor-trailers) impacts the Town's roadway system and ability to <br />move goods and services in the area. Several roadway corridors were reviewed and recommendations for <br />future improvements were made resulting in additional studies of specific roadway corridors. <br /> <br />. SW 10th Street Corridor Feasibility Study from the Saw grass Expressway to I 95, Broward <br />County, FDOT District 4 - Project Manager and Engineer of Record for the development of a major <br />corridor feasibility study evaluating potential transp0l1ation improvements for a 3 mile corridor <br />connecting two limited access facilities. Concepts considered include I) No Build; 2) TSM; 3) At-grade <br />expansion to a six-lane arterial; 4) Six-lane controlled access arterial with urban interchanges (SPUI's) <br />at Military Trail and Powerline Road, and frontage roads; 5) Four-lane express roadway with urban <br />interchanges (SPUI's) at Military Trail and Powerline Road and frontage roads; and 6) Transit alternative <br />with a six-lane divided facility with a two-lane, two-way dedicated busway in the center. Additionally, <br />improvements to the Sawgrass Expressway interchange with Florida's Turnpike were also evaluated. <br /> <br />SIL VIA M.
