Our construction plans included the realignment of the corridor in the approaches to the existing toll facility, the <br />evaluation of existing right-of-way for the realignment and the computation of quantities to develop a construction cost estimate <br />for the project. Construction Plans included: Roadway Plans and Signing & Marking Plans. <br />o SR 874 / Don Shula Expressway: this project included the development of 30% construction plans to be used by MDX to <br />advertise a design-build project for widening of the corridor between the Palmetto Expressway and Kendall Drive / SW 88 ST. <br />Three design alternatives were prepared including one that would accommodate future Express Managed Lanes. We performed <br />survey work, traffic analysis and developed plans which included the roadway and signing & pavement marking components, <br />along with a preliminary maintenance of traffic plan. <br />o SR 924 / Gratigny Expressway: this project included the development of 60% construction plans to reconfigure the <br />Eastbound off-ramp to NW 57 AVE. Our construction plans included the addition of an auxiliary channelized right-turn-Iane, <br />the realignment of the southbound thru lanes extending half a mile north of the exit ramp. Work included embankment <br />calculations, cross-sections, relocation of lighting fixtures, resetting of guardrail and drainage analysis. <br />o SR 836 / Dolphin Expressway: this project included the development of 60% construction plans to convert the existing outside <br />shoulder between East of 87 AVE and NW 72 AVE to a thru lane in order to achieve thru-Iane balance along the corridor.
