Some of his past experience include.

Railbender Skate Park; Town of Parker CO-Mr. Kopatz worked on a 35,000 square-foot lighted skate
plaza and six tennis courts, the central feature at an 8.5-acre park. A bouldering area, natural-themed
playground and artful wall elements reflective of the skate theme create signature design features for the
park. Colored concrete and a nearly 100-foot long art wall create a strong skate park presence along the
street. The skate park is sited to create plentiful seating opportunities for spectators with the ability to host
competition skate events. The central lawn will host outdoor events and festivals. A public art display at the
center of the skate park provides a visual focal point.

Brian Aragon Park Brighton Skatepark Design; City of Brighton; Brighton, CO-Mr. Kopatz was
responsible for design and construction document review of a 1-acre park that includes the first permanent
skate park for a growing community. The 13,000 square-foot skate park has a unique layout and shape,
maximizing perimeter landscape and softening the feel of the park's concrete. Railings and fencing
enhance user safety and create opportunities for viewing and seating areas. The design is the culmination
of a series of interactive community design workshops to create a design that appeals to all ages and
abilities. The park includes a viewing area, picnic shelter, and restroom facilities.

Community Park; Confidential Client-Mr. Kopatz was responsible for project design, public
participation, contract management, overall schedule and budget control, and client service for a large
community park in Colorado. It includes a premiere skate park that will be
a "one of a kind" and regionally significant to Rob Drydek's Street League. It is a destination recreation and
playground community park and is adjacent to the community recreation center and sports complex.

9
