In addition to managing the project, Mr. <br />Cambridge participated in many of the major components <br />of the Plan including the Needs and Priorities Assessment, <br />public workshops, focus group interviews, and five-tiered <br />Level of Service (LOS) Analysis. <br /> <br />City Jacksonville Parks System Master Plan, Jacksonville, <br />NC <br />In partnership with PROS Consulting, AECOM helped <br />develop a long term Vision Plan for the future development <br />of the City of Jacksonville Parks System. For this project, <br />Mr. Cambridge acted as the project manager in addition to <br />participating in the Visioning process and the development <br />of a final Vision Plan. <br /> <br />The Miami-Dade County Parks Pattern Book, Miami-Dade <br />County, FL <br />Based on the National Park Service Parks and Recreation <br />Structures book from the 1930s, this Pattern Book marks <br />the first effort in the nation by a County Park Department <br />to define design guidelines for urban design, landscape <br />design and architectural design within one comprehensive <br />document. The document is intended to be used by all <br />in-house staff as well as consultants for multidisciplinary <br />design efforts on all new parks and park facilities as well <br />as retro-fitting of existing parks. Mr. Cambridge was <br />responsible for the production of the AECOM graphics for <br />the Pattern Book. <br /> <br />City of Delray Beach Veteran's Park Master Plan, Delray <br />Beach,FL <br />AECOM developed a new master plan for Veteran's Park, <br />which is located along the famous Atlantic Avenue in Delray <br />Beach. Though prominently located, Veterans Park was <br />becoming increasingly.less active during the years leading <br />up to the revised Master Plan. AECOM's plan incorporated <br />many different uses within the park while preserving its <br />flexibility and increasing its sustainability. Mr. Cambridge <br />assisted with the schematic design, public involvement, <br />and graphics production phases of the project. <br /> <br />Rodda Family Plaza at Florida Southern College, Lakeland, <br />FL <br />Located within the largest collection of existing Frank <br />Lloyd Wright architecture in the world, Rodda Family Plaza <br /> <br />(formerly Ordway Gardens) is an excellent example of a <br />historically respective and yet adequately modern retro-fit <br />landscape. For this project, Mr. Cambridge acted as a lead <br />designer and worked with the college board of directors, <br />the contractor/donor, and a FLLW historian to develop a <br />plan that paid homage to Wright's original, but unrealized, <br />vision for this civic space.
