I I J I I 1 I j ./ Pedro St. James National Historic Campus - Wayfinding, Grand Cayman, British West Indies Serving as Project Manager and Senior Designer Mr. Mugmon provided research and design services for this national historic site located in Grand Cayman, British West Indies. Pedro St. James is the site of several historic events on Grand Cayman including announcement of emancipation of slavery and independence from British rule. AECOM created a gateway, vehicular and pedestrian directional signs for visitors to better navigate and access the facility and gardens. As part of the project we created over twenty interpretive signs educating the visitors of the rich history of the buildings, site, and the rich cultural history of the native Caymanian people. We performed detailed research for the Pedro St James educational display. This research included coordination with the National Archives and Historical Libraries of Grand Cayman, Cuba, Jamaica, and Great Britain. These efforts procured the appropriate graphic images to convey the concepts for each sign. Orange County Convention Center - Wayfinding, Orange County, FL As Senior Designer and Project Manager, Mr. Mugmon worked to design a wayfinding master plan in an effort to help visitors find their desired destination. Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is the third largest convention center in the United States attracting millions of visitors annually. Vas Island - Zone K Wayfinding, Abu Dhabi, UAE Mr. Mugmon served as wayfinding planner and lead designer for the wayfinding for this coastal community. Working with the Urban Planning Council and ALDAR (client) AECOM developed a comprehensive wayfinding system, branding concepts and entry features for this resort community. This exciting project is located adjacent to the world's largest indoor theme park Ferrari World. Special considerations were made towards promoting a walk-able environment throughout the project to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Orlando Health - Wayfinding, Orlando, FL Mr. Mugmon served as Project Manager and Senior Designer on the Orlando Health Wayfinding Project. Orlando Health is a network of community and specialty hospitals in Orlando, Florida. Orlando Health is comprised of Orlando Regional Medical Center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, South Lake Hospital, St. Cloud Regional Medical Center and M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando - affiliate of the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. AECOM designed a functional, creative and flexible system of signage to provide clear awareness and access to many campus destinations. In the last year the city underwent a comprehensive study with the goal of analyzing these wayfinding challenges and proposing a cohesive and implementable solution that will respond to the project's growth. A1A Nation Scenic and Historic Coastal Byway - Wayfinding, St. Johns and Flagler Counties, FL Mr. Mugmon served as senior designer and system planner and worked with St. Johns and Flagler Counties, seven municipalities including St. Augustine, multiple destinations and concerned citizens. This scenic highway travels 72 miles from Flagler Beach to Southern Jacksonville. As part of the process Mr. Mugmon managed the branding and wayfinding design efforts to create an identity for the corridor. North Miami Beach Wayfinding Jonathan was the project manager and lead designer for the North Miami Beach wayfinding project which included the evaluation of the entry experience at each entry node into the City. As part of this project we reviewed the best access opportunities and designed gateway features in keeping with the character of the communities history, architecture and brand. The gateway features each contain a digital message sign which displays event and public service information at the key decision points around the community. The signs are internally illuminated at night for clear legibility. Jonathan was instrumental in coordinating the approvalof this project through the department of transportation and obtained necessary approvals from the Federal Highway Administration for direction giving on state routes for the remaining wayfindi ng sign program currently being procured. Journey Through Hallowed Ground National Scenic Byway, spans Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania Extending from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, through Maryland and West Virginia, and ending at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello in Virginia, The Journey Through Hallowed Ground is a fascinating glimpse into American history, teeming with battlefields, historic sites, charming towns, and breathtaking natural beauty. AECOM is proud to be developing branding, marketing, phone applications, entry features and wayfinding for this legendary region. Mr. Mugmon is the Project Manager and Senior Designer for this project. He managed both AECOM personnel and subconsultants towards development of a wayfinding system approved for use through three states.
