The marina will have a new <br />configuration to maximize space and <br />revenue. The new public promenade <br />will provide the general public as well <br />as those renting boat slips access the <br />water's edge which is currently not <br />available and will provide a connection <br />from the marina to the new <br />dockmaster building and open air <br />pavilion. Mr. Schultz is the project <br />manager responsible for the design of <br />the site layout, public promenade and <br />associated landscape and hardscape <br />enhancements. <br /> <br />Miami Beachwalk - Miami Beach <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The beachwalk provides a social gathering experience <br />offering amazing views along the Atlantic Ocean and of the <br />numerous new and historical hotels that line the walk. Mr. <br />Schultz's involvement as project manager for the design of <br />the W Hotel pools and public spaces included the redesign of <br />the existing raised beachwalk behind the W Hotel and Collins <br />Park. The new design mimics the meandering at grade paver <br />path design that was previously installed south of the Setai <br />Hotel and this new portion ties into that linkage. Dune <br />specific vegetation was incorporated to give the pathway a <br />natural feel while still providing views to the ocean on the <br />East and Miami Beach's diverse hotels on the west.
