<br />BACKGROUND
<br />
<br />Mr. Handley has been involved in a broad range of land planning projects in South
<br />Florida for the past twenty-eight years. Having worked in both the public and
<br />private sectors, Mr. Handley is widely familiar with client needs and project
<br />requirements and processes. He is responsible for preparation and processing of
<br />plats, site and landscape plans; utilizing his knowledge of local, state and federal
<br />regulations involved in land development. He has direct client contact to obtain
<br />project input and approvals, responsible for completion of projects on time and
<br />within budget.

<br />Vice President Planning & Landscape Architecture (September 1993 - Present),
<br />Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc., Fort Lauderdale - Responsible for overseeing
<br />all activities of the Planning and Landscape Architecture Department. Project
<br />Management, including scheduling, budgeting, and project approval on numerous
<br />multi-departmental projects. Preparation of plans for all aspects of Land
<br />Planning/Landscape Architecture, including site, streetscape, irrigation and
<br />landscape designs for all types of private and public projects. Conduct land
<br />acquisition analysis and development feasibility studies. Preparation and
<br />processing of DRI/ ADA, land use amendments, rezonings and right-of-way
<br />vacations. Client representation at both public and private meetings and
<br />responsible for completion of all planning projects on time and within budget.

<br />Associates, Inc., Fort Lauderdale - Responsibilities included preparation and
<br />processing of commercial, industrial, residential and park site plans, plats,
<br />landscape plans, subdivision layout plans, irrigation plans, tree removal and
<br />relocation plans and presentation graphics, utilizing knowledge of local, state and
<br />federal regulations involved in land development. Worked closely with
<br />engineering and surveying departments for total project approach to meet client's
<br />needs. Has direct client contact to obtain project input and approvals.

<br />Land Planner, Urban Systems Group (March 1986 - February 1988), Keith &
<br />Schnars, P.A., Fort Lauderdale - Responsibilities included land use planning,
<br />landscape planning and design, platting and site and irrigation planning work on
<br />residential, commercial, retail and public park developments in Broward and Palm
<br />Beach Counties. Also included preparation of site plan renderings and
<br />presentation graphics.

<br />Planner (March 1984 - March 1986) City of Coral Springs, Coral Springs -
<br />Responsibilities involved in site plan review, preparation of municipal code
<br />amendments, comprehensive planning, park master planning and general
<br />landscape planning work. Served as coordinator of the Development Review
<br />Committee.
